[Everyone will no doubt notice a new addition to the Plane: a giant Christmas tree. Yes, it’s decorated. Lights, ornaments, candy canes, the works. EVEN TINSEL. Tinsel rocks. Lots of tinsel, really.

There are also quite a few presents stacked under the tree. Each is addressed to a person on the Plane with hilariously appropriate - or possibly inappropriate - wrapping paper.

There is a sign near the tree which reads, “Thank you very much for helping us. Please accept a gift, completely and utterly free. It is our payment. We feel you’ve earned it! Did you know some trees stay green in the winter? But they‘re so prickly.”

At the bottom of the sign a small scribbled note reads, “We tried to bake cookies but even we wouldn’t eat those.”]

[It's a good thing that the Twins aren't actually here, because lol Hei would be killing them right now. Or trying to.]

Oh, no.

[He sort of watches the tree warily for awhile before he approaches and finds a squarish box wrapped in metallic black-blue paper with lightning bolts all over it. He turns it over a few times before he finally opens it.]

[Inside is a stuffed purple sheep. The exact same one that he got for Xin. He stares at it for quite awhile before he pulls it out.]

[Surprisingly, he smiles a little.]

[She finds a basket with her name on it and gently peels back the tissue. Inside are a few scrolls. She transforms to human so she can undo the scrolls, and when she does, she gasps. On the scrolls are pictures--there's a picture of Issun, a picture of Waka, and a picture of Oki.]

If you guessed the woman whose coat is ripped and whose back is bleeding quite profusely (don't worry, she's covered that up with a backpack), you would be right! Toclafane? Clearly not Christmas tree ornaments. Or disco balls. Unless you're the Master, in which case you probably could have a Christmas tree covered in them with a Tinkerbell Jesus Doctor on top, but I digress, as I usually do. Have a hallucinogenic cookie if you read this and it made sense to you.

Oh, yeah, and she's also sporting some bruises from her catfight with Lucy. ANYWAY. Christmas! Martha is pretty sure she doesn't want to find out what's in her present. It does not look like it contains her family. D:]

[Bummer about the cookies, because that's too tempting. Still, warnings about baked goods are to always be taken seriously, so he settles on grabbing a candy cane off the tree instead. In the process, a bit of tinsel might have come off as well. He proceeds to liberate the candy cane from its wrapper for delicious non-hallucinogenic consumption. That out of the way, have him eating a candy cane and distractedly trying to untangle the bits of tinsel that came along for the ride.]
