[The Doctor is back around! Well, more or less. He technically didn't leave, he's just been avoiding the Plane entirely. He would rather still be away but lately he prefers sitting somewhere away from the TARDIS while he does his work. It’s more relaxing to take a stroll through space.

Speaking of work, he’s completely engrossed in a data pad. He’s scrolling through it with a stylus, occasionally stopping to click something or read longer. Once or twice, his reading is accompanied by a small holographic projection of various planets above the screen.

He’s taken to walking around the empty space, mostly following the arms of a spiral galaxy. Get his attention if you want him!]

[Hei watches him for awhile before approaching.] Busy?

[Looks up and smiles.] Ah, well. More or less. Worlds to save and all that. It's somewhat easier since I know generally what I need to do.

[There is a tiny Autorave walking behind him, mimicking his exact movements and even holding her hands out in front of her as if she is going over a data pad with a stylus.]

[The Doctor hears her following and pause, glancing behind him. He takes take a step forward to see if she'll copy him again.]

[she merely places herself in his intended direction. He will either notice her, or they will collide!]

[The Doctor doesn't immediately look up, nor does he stop right away. Instead he chooses to wait until they are close and looks up from his data pad with a soft smile.] Enjoying the starlight? Well, galaxy light.

[Dorothy is carrying a pie, looking at it very intently, seemingly concentrating very hadr on... something about the pie. DOCTOR IF YOU DON'T START LOOKING WHERE YOU'RE GOING YOU'RE GOING TO BUMP RIGHT INTO HER AND MAKE HER DROP IT ALL OVER.]

[The dice decided that the Doctor will not, in fact, cause a traffic jam of pie! But the Doctor doesn't actually see Dorothy. He just smells the sweet, sweet smell of delicious pie and looks up to see where it is.]

Is that a pie you baked? [Translation: Hi, Dorothy!]

{:O! Diva is just following behind him, looking at the planets that pop up on his cool toy with amazement}

[He feels her watching and glances up, curious.] Have you ever seen a hologram before, Diva?

[Ace watches for a moment, waiting until he's at least half turned in her direction before speaking.]

Something's not right with your data. The projection doesn't seem right.

[He stops and spins around, eyes wide.] Ace?

[He looks up at Roxas and tilts his head slightly. Roxas looks a bit familiar but he can't quite place it.] Hm? Oh, yes. This is a data pad. An electronic notebook of sorts, though more multi-purpose than that.

[totally not the whore of a Doctor he was looking for, but you are close enough that he might be a little annoyed with you by proxy, sorry Doctor. he'll be trying to keep in mind you're not, which is why he won't punch you, but still, annoyance by proxy]

[Looks up, a bit surprised from the annoyance but otherwise fine.]

Oh, I was just trying to solve the Dalek issue.

[Looks up and smiles at Arthur.] This is a data pad. Incredibly useful for storing information and reviewing it. It also displays visuals.

[The Doctor is having fun with his shadows, luckily. This time, he's more surprised by who it is, since he remembers Ikki as that awesome kid.]

Ikki! [Hi, Ikki, you have a Time Lord glomping you.] Good to see you again!

[The Doctor feels like he's being watched and looks up to see a new face. He smiles.] Enjoying my pacing?

[The Doctor can't help but be a little amused.] A hologram. I suppose they aren't terribly common for the people who frequent the Plane.

[Susan walks after him, following his path and trying to decide what is so interesting about this particular spiral galaxy.

She also wonders, absently, if he'll notice her.]

[He walks a few paces before he realises another has fallen into his steps. He looks up, turning to see her. He smiles easily.]

[She falls into step next to him, her arms crossed behind her head.] Something the matter?

[He keeps walking, assuming Aniki is actually enjoying strolling with him.] Not precisely. Or rather something is very wrong but I have time to fix it. It's just a matter of finding the solution.

[He looks up and gives her a small smile.] Oh, a problem involving Daleks. Some things never change.

[The Doctor gives a small start but he smiles when he sees who it is.] You're quite good at that.

It depends on the era. The era I nicked this from is quite into retro technology from the past. It works well enough for my purposes.

[Misaki had been curled up on a stolen bed, sheltered in a chunk of stolen house that looks at least several decades old. When she sees the Doctor pass a hole in the wall, however, she slips out of her makeshift shelter, accompanied by her handy-dandy lead pipe.]
