[The Doctor is back around! Well, more or less. He technically didn't leave, he's just been avoiding the Plane entirely. He would rather still be away but lately he prefers sitting somewhere away from the TARDIS while he does his work. It’s more relaxing to take a stroll through space.

Speaking of work, he’s completely engrossed in a data pad. He’s scrolling through it with a stylus, occasionally stopping to click something or read longer. Once or twice, his reading is accompanied by a small holographic projection of various planets above the screen.

He’s taken to walking around the empty space, mostly following the arms of a spiral galaxy. Get his attention if you want him!]

[it shouldn't, they're Daleks] The last time I faced them - well, blowing up their ship worked a treat. [the words are flippant, but his tone is grave, eyes dark]

[He's a little startled but he's tired enough from thinking to go with it.] Apparently there's quite a lot of ships.

Perhaps, if you catch them together...you could set off a chain reaction? [pondering all of the explosives of the wide universe]

They're apparently all connected by a core of some sort on the main ship. The Master was thinking that he could get there while I deal with Davros.

[stares] Davros is still - [just...shakes his head]

Are they still using clones?

[He sighs.] It sounds like it, yes. All cloned from Davros.

[his brow furrows] Do you suppose they're connected to him?

I believe they are, yes. He's too proud to disconnect himself or change the biological code. So it should be the same through them all.

Enough that destroying him would have an adverse effect, physically speaking?

It should, I think. I don't know if it would destroy them as well, though.

[slight shrug] It wouldn't hurt. He might even stay dead this time.

Provided it doesn't - if you want to focus on the ships you'll need to make sure most of them are onboard.

[He nods.] It'd be best to do something while they're still preparing. I'm usually a good enough distraction for them to stop what they're doing for a bit.

[slight nod] We do seem to have that effect, yes. [and he shakes his head] I wish I could help.

Ah, well, I'm not...completely alone in it, so it should be all right. [Five gets to be the first person to hear that the Master is indeed helping.]

[raises eyebrow] That's something. Provide any ally doesn't swan off at the last moment.

He seems rather enthusiastic about it, really.
