[The Doctor is back around! Well, more or less. He technically didn't leave, he's just been avoiding the Plane entirely. He would rather still be away but lately he prefers sitting somewhere away from the TARDIS while he does his work. It’s more relaxing to take a stroll through space.

Speaking of work, he’s completely engrossed in a data pad. He’s scrolling through it with a stylus, occasionally stopping to click something or read longer. Once or twice, his reading is accompanied by a small holographic projection of various planets above the screen.

He’s taken to walking around the empty space, mostly following the arms of a spiral galaxy. Get his attention if you want him!]

Mm, I don't know. I'm trying to figure out what to do about them.

What factors are you taking into consideration? [comes up beside him, looking over his data pad] What might be facilitated by another?

Well, the problem is that there's apparently quite a lot of them. A fleet or two. They are all connected by the same biological signal, though. They're also in a well protected area readying an incredibly deadly weapon.

Is it not possible to pinpoint their biological data and attack using a corresponding frequency? [frowns] What weapon do they have in their possession?

Well, I was thinking of something along those lines. A counter frequency, maybe. [He sighs.] Apparently it's called a reality bomb, an atom shredder, to be blunt. It's situated on the Medusa Cascade to allow it to rip through the multiverses.

If anything, it would immobilise them long enough to have something done. [frowns uncertainly] That is insane, even for the Daleks. They will destroy themselves.

I know. I did assume the Daleks see the flaw with that plan. It's hard to say with them.

[nods, placing a hand on his arm] I would help you were I able. I do not like the idea of you facing this alone.

[He smiles and puts his hand over hers.] Don't worry, old girl. We've been through worse. I'll manage.

[flinches a little, because yeah, she's been through some hard times] I do not want you simply to manage. Managing suggests you are also in pain.

[He shakes his head.] It's likely to be...difficult but it needs to be done.

There are none to help you should you require it, though. I do not like you being alone against them.

Ah, well, I wouldn't worry. Everything should work out. I've had enough warning about this. And maybe I won't need to deal with the Daleks again. [Simple words with a darker meaning behind them.]

Do not ask the impossible of me. [catches that darkness] You mean to destroy them utterly, then? As you once were meant to on Skaro?

[He sighs and now he just sounds tired.] I really don't know what else to do. I gave them a second chance, not that long ago. They ruined it. They killed the person who could have saved their race and turned it right around. I saw that possibility snap.

Daleks neither need nor respond to second chances, Doctor. [frowns] There are some creatures in this universe that simply deserve death. There are some that have lost the right to live.

[He runs a hand through his hair.] You think I have the right to pass that judgement? I thought I did. I don't know.

If not you, who? There are none in the multiverse more qualified than you, Doctor.

[ooc; You are up early :O]

[He laughs.] Well, there might be...There probably isn't but I'll leave that degree of possibility.

(ooc: I had insomnia! Then I went and passed out in bed.)

I will not. You are the only one who matters.

[ooc; Awww, poor thing! I feel like I'm about to pass out, myself]

[He smiles, a bit amused.] Well, at least I'll make the right decision by your mind, then. I suppose...I've given them enough chances. [You can tell that was hard for him to say.]

((ooc: and now I waited forever to do tags but I hope you got some rest tonight. *hugs*))

Far too many have been given enough chances. [she seems particularly upset by that, too] Doctor. How many chances should one be given?

[ooc; I got a decent amount, yeah. *snugs*]

[He notices and strokes her hand in thought.] I've never been particularly good in limiting it. But eventually there's a limit. It just depends on what the fight is worth.

((ooc: *hugs* Good, I'm glad! You need rest.))

And if something is done to you that you cannot forgive? That you do not know how to reconcile in your mind? What then? Should you still give chances?

[ooc; Bah, don't worry about me. You need rest and hugs and good stuff]

I...don't really know. What sort of thing? If you can't reconcile it, I mean, it's likely unforgivable.
