Constellation 08
[There are several piles of snow on the Plane today. There's enough of it to cover a small section of the 'floor' in it, as well as scatterings here and there. Arthur is sitting in the middle of it, dressed appropriately for the cold, at least, with a heavy winter jacket and large snow boots. His cheeks are a bright red, though whether this is because of the cold or the scotch currently being filtered by his body is anyone's guess.
There are tuffs of snow on his hair and clothes, but these are ignored in favor of the drawing in the snow he seems to be working on at the moment. Equations, to be exact]
[Experiment start, as well~]

[starts playing around with his mobile]
I'll text you so you can program in my number as well.
[Texts the Doctor: Maybe ask Arthur out. You two seem to get on well.]

Right... Ah, yes, no, probably not. Probably need a few days. Stargate might interest you...
[He stares at the message for a second longer before texting back. 'I'm not 80, you know.']

[Texts back: 'Then act like it and ask him out.']

Sphere. You might like that one. It involves time travel in a different sort of way. A lot of these were novels or stories, first, which may also appeal to you. And there's always novelizations.

[Text: 'I could do it for you if you're afraid to ask.']

[Text: 'Why not?']

That should be enough films for now, I think.

He then glances up at Arthur and watches him work as he waits for Handy to text back.]
I should have most of the novels around. You're free to borrow those.
no subject
That's very nice of you, making a special effort just to give him books. You must think a lot of Arthur to go through all that trouble.

[Then he sends Handy a Look and texts. 'This isn't one of Donna's relationship drama shows.']

Arthur, you and the Doctor are going out on a date. You both fancy each other, so just pick a time and place and all that nonsense.
[rubs the back of his neck]
Now then, which film are we starting with? 2001: A Space Odyssey?

He's blaming Donna.
He's also going to ADD! Discreetly. Because 'AHHHH topic is scary.']
Point. And 2001: A Space Odyssey would be good to start with, yes.

Speaking of the cinema, I suppose we could watch it over there. It's best on the big screen, I think. Still we should stop by the kitchen first for popcorn.

[to the Doctor] Feel free to pick what you prefer.
no subject
Right, yes, well! Whenever he'd like, I suppose.
no subject
And I'm ready to watch now if you two are.
[pushes himself to a stand and brushes the snow off his trousers]

Then, with a mental shrug he unzips the jacket and throws it back on the snow, taking a moment to pull of his boots and placing them by the jacket as well. Content, he begins to head towards the cinema]
no subject
Note that he doesn't brush off the snow.]
Do we actually have the film we need though?
no subject
Stops mid-walk]
You have a copy of it on your TARDIS, don't you?
