Constellation 08
[There are several piles of snow on the Plane today. There's enough of it to cover a small section of the 'floor' in it, as well as scatterings here and there. Arthur is sitting in the middle of it, dressed appropriately for the cold, at least, with a heavy winter jacket and large snow boots. His cheeks are a bright red, though whether this is because of the cold or the scotch currently being filtered by his body is anyone's guess.
There are tuffs of snow on his hair and clothes, but these are ignored in favor of the drawing in the snow he seems to be working on at the moment. Equations, to be exact]
[Experiment start, as well~]

What is what?

Eddington, did I ever mention that the Doctor and I were... ahh, how should I put it? We were at school together.
[and then he looks at Handy]
Entirely unsurprising, really, that he should miss how much I valued the exclusivity of that. He didn't notice then, and he would completely miss it now if I weren't so careful to make myself very clear.
[absently stroking the back of the Doctor's neck with his thumb]
Of course, the Doctor has always appreciated his privacy, so it would be good of you not to bring up our education with anyone else. And Arthur? You're a human. You could never keep up with the class.
[Now beaming quite pleasantly]
So when will the film start?
no subject
Even if the stroking feels nice. He must not ADD.]Oh no, don't you start on 'exclusive education'! What about Lucy? I know you and her go off to school together. Believe me, I wish I didn't. Oh! And the queen of Atlantis. I've never forgotten that one. I still think you fancied her. Not really sure why I thought of her though. Maybe she reminds me of Lucy. She might, actually. And there's more than just that but really the focus of that part was Lucy, because, well, honestly you can't make a claim and then have double standards.
And did you really just use the 'we were at school together' bit and run with it? Not that it isn't a nice euphemism, actually, a bit subtle, and you know I'm perfectly capable of handling these things myself! I had even an idea. A very good idea.
[This rant brought to you by: pouting and whining.]
Also that was a bit rude, to my other self there. Just a thought.
no subject
I did tell him you and the Doctor were already together. I'm still not sure why I was meant to speak up in the first place.
Though it was rude to take his seat. I would have offered mine.
no subject
See, he can go to school with an entire university, but you're meant to be home tutored and never get a proper education. It's typical, really.
[kicks his feet up on the seat in front of him, and he's not looking at any of you now, and just keeping his gaze on the screen waiting for the film to start]
no subject
[curious] {An idea? I bet it didn't involve lasers through the hearts. My ideal way to turn someone down.}
[The Master uses his grip on the Doctor's neck to turn his head towards him and accordingly leans in close]
You agreed to everything, Doctor. Don't tell me you intend on breaking the deal?
[then, abruptly, he pulls away]
These seats are really uncomfortable! I can't believe human couples engage in sexual relations in them. Do they really actually do that?
[looks at Handy, his voice quite sharp]
He has had a thousand years to have a very broad and indiscriminate education. Now it stops.
no subject
I did promise. I said as much. But I still argue the word 'exclusive' about that aspect even in our current situation.
{And I did! I was hardly going to talk about this with both of them right now. It's something much better done in private and separately. Really, I know what I'm doing.}
[Then he leans back.] Anyway, it's no one's fault at all, so no one should worry. [He's just ignoring the sex bit because....well no he's never had sex in a movie theater and he's not sure if it'd really be nice.]
no subject
[and he focuses again] I don't really think it's anyone's fault. And nothing really happened.
[He smiles at the Doctor, even as he sounds a bit hopeful]Things will just go back to normal, right?>
no subject
I didn't do anything wrong! You live with him and your wife. I assumed you two had some sort of understanding, or I don't know.
I'll just keep my mouth shut from now on and speak when spoken to, since it seems that would make everyone happy.
[and goes back to staring in front of him sulking and pouting]
no subject
[under his breath] I don't intend on sleeping with two harlots, after all.
[OH DID HE SAY THAT OUT LOUD WHOOPS on to new subjects]
And would you stop sulking back there, Handy-hand? You're setting a bad example for Arthur.
[beams at Arthur]
Hi, Arthur! You're my favourite person wearing your face right now.
no subject
[Though he does pat Arthur's shoulder and smiles at him.] It's quite all right, promise.
no subject
I tend to be more relaxed when I talk to you than when I talk to the Master's Doctor.
no subject
Well, fortunately or unfortunately depending on who you ask, I probably won't keep true to that. Just one of those sort of things a person says but doesn't really mean I suppose. I'm just having a sulk, like he said. Don't worry about it, it's fine.
[shrugs and goes back to looking at the screen]
Is someone going to start the film or what are we doing?
no subject
no subject
Oh I love doing that. Well! There we are then. Start of the film.
no subject
Thank you again for showing me this, Doctor.
no subject
Haven't seen this one in a while, I don't think. Should be good, like seeing it for the first time, almost.
no subject
[also he forgot what they were watching, so he's rifling through the Doctor's head to find out]
You still haven't told me who your first in this body was. And my money is still on Rose Tyler.
no subject
[Sigh, Master. Fine look HERE'S THE MOVIE TITLE happy now? That will cost you popcorn which the Doctor will be stealing now.]
And you still won't find out. Though for the record, no.
[Oh look, a conveniently placed movie screen. He shall stare at it now. Also kicking his feet up on the seat in front of him, because Handy has good ideas.]

By saying that, you're indicating that you lied to me during that charming little conversation we had about yourself and your 'romantic' partners. Are you going to say you lied to me, my dearest Doctor?
no subject
I don't...actually remember the specifics now. And not 'now' as in 'oh look isn't that convenient I forgot when you pointed out the discrepancy' so much as 'oh, did I say that? well maybe it was. or maybe it wasn't.'
It's really been a long few years.
no subject
What about you then? All these questions, how about you? Was Lucy your first in that body or did you spend some time sowing your wild oats so to speak?
no subject
Did you just say 'sow your wild oats'?
