Constellation 08
[There are several piles of snow on the Plane today. There's enough of it to cover a small section of the 'floor' in it, as well as scatterings here and there. Arthur is sitting in the middle of it, dressed appropriately for the cold, at least, with a heavy winter jacket and large snow boots. His cheeks are a bright red, though whether this is because of the cold or the scotch currently being filtered by his body is anyone's guess.
There are tuffs of snow on his hair and clothes, but these are ignored in favor of the drawing in the snow he seems to be working on at the moment. Equations, to be exact]
[Experiment start, as well~]

Did you just say 'sow your wild oats'?

[His tone implies that this hadn't occurred to him until now, and he's now going over the rest of the conversation in his head in this new light]
no subject
Then he blinks and turns to Arthur.]
Oh, well, yes. We were. Are. Erm, anyway. [Rubs the back of his neck and sinks into the seat just a hair.] Should pay attention to the film, right, Arthur?
no subject
I think I just did, yeah.
[then shrugs]
Is that avoiding the question, then?
no subject
[but he's eyeing Arthur suspiciously]
Yes, Arthur, it is about sex. Aren't you... bothered? You know, stuck-up, confined, limited Quaker sensibilities offended? Blushing, at least a little, about how it's inappropriate?
no subject
I suppose it is inappropriate, to talk about such things in public, but I'm not embarrassed by it.
no subject
[Then a bit less to himself.] Too much alcohol, maybe?
no subject
[to the Doctor re: Arthur, almost as an aside] I figured the same thing, alcohol or the like.
no subject
Have you been drinking, Eddington?
no subject
If I were, I wouldn't have been able to walk over here properly.

no subject
I didn't know you drank.
no subject
And I only drink every so often. Sometimes when I'm invited to dine, but mostly when I go out with Charles.
no subject
Mm, well then. In that case, there might be something wrong with you. Not that getting over your repression is entirely a bad thing but generally people don't suddenly manage it out fo the blue.
no subject
Something wrong with him? What like...oh, it's another experiment, isn't it? They're really extra fond of them as of late, aren't they?
[looks ahead at the screen thinking and then stops and turns to Arthur, concerned]
All this lack of inhibition, you haven't gone and done anything to get yourself in trouble, have you?
no subject
Hey, Arthur: ever played Shag, Marry, Kill?
no subject
[frowning] No, I don't believe I've heard of the game.
no subject
[But he pauses his musings for a moment.] Don't play that. Honestly, that game is ridiculous.
no subject
[stops himself, looking over at Arthur] He's right you know, you don't want to play.
no subject
And come on, Arthur! It's just a fun little game. I name three people, and you hypothetically decide which one you'd shag, which you'd marry, and which you'd chuck off a cliff.
no subject
no subject
[he leans back, tilting his head.] I did play a version once where you could leave the person somewhere forever instead.
no subject
[leans forward a little to talk to the Doctor] Well you might as well just cliff them at that point, same difference. [leaning forward a little more to address Arthur] There is no fourth option. It's the point of the game. You don't have to play if you don't want to, no one's forcing you. Just tell him you don't want to.
