What's all this then? It's pretty unexpected, I have to say. If this is what I've been missing out on, I'll have to start sneaking out of the Palace again.
[he looks around idly, seeming pretty calm and unmoved by it all. He's just chill and almost pleasantly so]
Still, as nice as the scenery is, pulling people into Machines isn't something to be taken lightly. Grand experiments like this without the consent of the test subjects aren't something I can condone. I might have to talk to some people. Hopefully there aren’t any idiots I know getting themselves mixed up in anything they shouldn't be. It would be a hassle to have to clean up someone else's mess again.
[a sigh that's somewhere between annoyed and unamused. He crosses his arms over his chest, and if there was a throne somewhere he'd take a seat. Oh well, he'll just look around expectantly]
So how about someone come out and tell me how to get out of this place? While the look of the place and the new surroundings are great, being trapped too long in one place would be annoying.

I can't seem to recall you ever cleaning any messes, Your Majesty. In fact, I have been reliably informed to the contrary.
no subject
You would say something like that. You can't be left alone for a minute without getting mixed up in some kind of mess.
[he props his chin up on his hand as his arm is propped on Jade's shoulder]
What's up with this place anyway?
no subject
[And Jade sure as hell isn't going to explain anything to Peony. That's just annoying.]
It's so disappointing that Your Majesty hasn't yet learned to read before speaking. All that education has gone tragically to waste.
no subject
[and he pushes himself off of Jade,
foiling Jade once again]I guess for now I'll have to find something else to tell me what's going on since you're so useless.
[and he heads off in some direction to try to find a place with written information]
no subject
It's the place that says 'Information.' But if you require it, I'd be happy to read it out for Your Majesty. I understand how difficult longer words can be for you.

One, this isn't a machine. It's, uh, space.
Two, just... think about it. Like, I mean. Think of going home. And you'll... go home.
no subject
That's it? [he drops and he returns] They should just say that with the greeting instead of talking about Machines. [and then he shrugs] At least this place looks like it'll be fun for a while. So what's your name?
no subject
Nathan Explosion. Yeah, uh, there are some brochures explaining shit, one by some dude my buddy Irving works with, and one by me. They explain stuff better.
no subject
[and he comes over to get a look at your slushie]
Yo, so what's that, Nathan?

[especially with your fabulous fashion sense. Mmmmm fabulous fashion, Peony loves fashion.]
Those are some nice clothes you have. Where do you go to get something like that made?
no subject
[Firesong is pleased to find someone else with good taste!] Why thank you. Most of what I own was made in my home vale. Were fortunate to have several talented and adventurous clothing designers in residence.

He's wearing black. HE CAN BLEND IN RIGHT?]

[When Peony recognizes Asch as Asch though, there is some concern and suspicion. It's shrugged off more or less as he approaches Asch, Peony's demeanour seeming pretty relaxed]
Yo, you're the one they called Asch, right?
no subject
-- Wait, did he just say 'yo'? For fuck's sake, dude, you're an emperor.
Asch stops and faces him, closing his book.]
... Yes, Your Majesty. [He bows slightly and wonders just who told Peony about Asch. But he might be from the future or something too. It's impossible to tell, really.]
no subject
[He's Emperor Awesome and he says yo because it's fun]
You recognize me. That's better than I expected.
[he scrutinizes Asch, leaning in close before pulling away]
Man, I'll be annoyed if I don't just ask, so I might as well get it out of the way now. You're not a replica or something, are you?
no subject
-- PERSONAL SPACE PLEASE. He makes a hilarious face (like he swallowed a bug, actually) and takes a step back. Punching the emperor of Malkuth will /not/ help peace talks between countries, damn it.
He looks ROARING FURIOUS at that question though, just for a second, before he clamps down on it. How could anyone pose such a question after what HE'S been through?]
No.
[... Okay, that came out a little more passive-aggressive than he intended. But he's too annoyed to take it back.]
