What's all this then? It's pretty unexpected, I have to say. If this is what I've been missing out on, I'll have to start sneaking out of the Palace again.

Still, as nice as the scenery is, pulling people into Machines isn't something to be taken lightly. Grand experiments like this without the consent of the test subjects aren't something I can condone. I might have to talk to some people. Hopefully there aren’t any idiots I know getting themselves mixed up in anything they shouldn't be. It would be a hassle to have to clean up someone else's mess again.

So how about someone come out and tell me how to get out of this place? While the look of the place and the new surroundings are great, being trapped too long in one place would be annoying.

My reality has merged with that of my companion. His time is currently running very slowly compared to mine, and thus home is rather uncomfortable. What is but a moment to him, I perceive as days.

So it's all because of this place. If that's the case, why don't you just talk to whoever is running this thing?

Because I have a distinct feeling that those in charge have lost control. Moreover, they'd not be able to help - Mergers can be countered by avoiding the other person, but Shion and I are quite close.

Hell, if they are losing control it might be the best time to approach them. They might be willing to work with you if they need some help in return.

If you're going to work with them, the best time to get something going is when they're looking for help.

I remember them telling me that they attracted the attention of 'bad people' who were stronger than they. The result thus far has been a marked increase in the number of deaths. There is more than one goal being worked toward, I feel.

You have to wonder what their definition of "bad people" is, considering everything.

Given recent happenings, possibly quite in line with the typical notion of 'bad people.'

Then you better start working with those guys in charge now, since they sound a hell of a lot better than the ones trying to take over the place.

Just once, personally, but I'm sure there are some who have seen death several times, for one reason or another.

Have there been any side effects?

The colour of our blood changes, for one thing. I found my telekenetic and telepathic abilities to be more sensitive upon returning, but I do not know if others had side-effects.
