[Hei appears, looking rather irritated, and promptly heads off along the Astral Plane, walking with a purpose and looking like he's searching for something.]

By M11, I think...

[Keeps walking, mostly in silence, though he mutters to himself occasionally. After a bit he comes upon his telescope and his expression darkens. The telescope has been knocked over and is lying on its side. Hei crouches down, sighing heavily.]

This on top of the rest of it...

[Disappears for a moment, coming back with a toolkit and a bag of sandwiches. He settles down and starts going to work on his poor, beat-up telescope.]

[Yeah, no, not sneaking up on an assassin. Hei grabs the bag and yanks them away from her, not even looking up from his telescope.]

[Raises an eyebrow, then sighs and pulls a sandwich out of the bag. He holds it out to her.]

[Shun comes over and watches for a minuet or so before speaking] Something happened to your telescope?

[Doesn't look up at Shun because he's focusing on repairs.]

It must have gotten knocked over in the explosion. All the glass shattered at the bar, too. I meant to come sooner, but I was busy separating realities.

[Looks up at him this time and smiles a little.] Why? Not like it was your fault. And, no offense, but I doubt it--unless you know a lot about telescopes.

[Personal space, whut. Gives Juliet a mild look.] No one. It was an accident.

[Raises an eyebrow at him.] There was an explosion a few weeks ago that knocked it over, that's all.

[Wandering over in his usual way]

Did something happen?

[Focused on repairs.] The explosion tipped it over.

I see. I'd feel terrible if anything irreparable happened...

[Smiles at him.] No, it's all fixable. The lens was fine, after all, which is kind of a miracle. It's just the casing and the eyepiece.

[Glances up at him.] Not really, but there was an explosion here a little while ago.

Explosion? Like a bombing?

[Oh lord.] Um...not really. It's kind of complicated. A couple of the people here were fighting and had to use a very powerful ability.

The explosion from the Hades fight knocked it over.

[Tinkering with it now.] The lens is fine, which is the important part, but the casing is cracked and the eyepiece is out of alignment. I should be able to fix it, though.
