[The Doctor is in a relatively good mood, and it may have something to do with the fact that he's got one of his companions with him. This companion is a fluffy black cat named Mortimer, who is currently lapping up a saucer of milk. The Doctor shakes his head as he watches him.]
Dunno how you can stand the stuff. All the species in all the universe and it has to come out of a cow.
Suppose it's a good thing we restocked the kitchen, though. 'Course, it's gonna have to be restocked every couple of weeks now that we've got so many mouths to feed. [He doesn't sound overly frustrated by this, however. Quite the opposite, in fact.] Remember when it was just you and me? Blimey, seems like forever ago... [he trails off, brooding for a moment. Then he turns his attention to Mortimer again, since the cat is demanding it by plopping down onto Nine's lap.]
Speaking of new companions, d'you think we ought to get another cat? Seems like you could use a feline friend, and maybe one who's mum won't try to claw me to death. No more domestics for me, thanks!

[The lifted eyebrows are both questioning what that was and also when, exactly, did the Doctor appoint himself judge, jury, and executioner of a vampires?]

But nobody told me 'til now. Nobody's even done anything. So now I've got to. 'Cause she raped my TARDIS. [which is nearly the same as doing it to him, really]

[His retreat into dryness is a little less wry than it normally is.] I must say, Thete, blood donations are a very peculiar way of administering justice.

I've gotten Remus to help me out with a bit of anger management for Diva. Have you met him? He's a very good friend of mine.

[Braxiatel tightens his grip until the pressure of his finger and thumb on his temples hurts. Then he drops his hand, his face a mask of impassivity as he measures the Doctor's expression.]
You have so many very good friends that I've started to loose count. May I ask what you're personally doing for this vampire, or should I just assume it's something self-destructive?

He's a werewolf, so he knows intimately what having to control something inside of you's like.
And I'm not doing anything self-destructive! I'm just trying to help her live a better life. Er...unlife? [and you know, offering to be a tasty meal while he's at it]

...And you mean aside from the anger management? Er...I suppose I'm trying to get her to branch out a bit. Make new friends, that sort of thing. She's got the tendency to get attached to one person, and that's dangerous on the Plane. The last bloke she was attached to left, and I think it made a big impact on her mind. Makes her easier to manipulate, too -- think that's part of why she trusted Crane so much.

A dependent personality. A vampire with a dependent personality. Oh, you do know how to pick them, don't you?

...What d'you mean?

[A soft laugh] I believe we were discussing Diva. And Omega? I'm meant to be doing something about all that. I can't quite figure out what.

that icon makes it seem like they're married. oh wait. :|
What terribly complicated rituals Gallifreyans must have for this sort of thing
Which is obvs. why they should screw the rituals. pun intended.
Shame on you, shame!
You know you love it.
