006 [A Master of Disguise]
[At first glance, the figure that appears on the Plane doesn’t look much like Susan Foreman. Instead of her favoured dark stripes and human fashions, she is dressed in a white coat and highly unusual glasses.]
Excuse me ... does anybody have a mirror I could use?
[She pushes up the glasses and reveals her face. The situation is rather precarious in her own world at the moment, and she needs a few moments to herself before she rejoins the Doctor and Zoe. Her trip to the Plane is nothing to do with vanity, although she's rather hoping that people will assume that. It might stop them from asking too many questions.]
I don't think it looks quite right.
[And it has to look right. She doesn't want to think about what will happen if they get caught out.]
OOC: 'The War Games' continues. I was tempted to skip straight to the final episode, but the glasses were too awesome to pass up.

...What are they though?
no subject
Oh! These? They're called glasses.
[Although not the sort you can buy from opticians.]
no subject
Oh, really? ...Suppose that makes sense since they have glass in them an' that; why are you wearin' them over your eyes though?
no subject
[She would usually let Cally have a closer look, but the glasses are important and she can't afford to let them go.]

I don't think we've met before. My name is Susan.
no subject
Oh! I forgot that, 'M Cally; 'S nice to meet you! An' that's a pretty name.
no subject
Where do you come from?
It's nice to meet you, too. Thank you! Cally is very pretty as well.
no subject
That's 'cause I chose it; my long name is jus' weird but Cally goes nice- easier to say which is good 'cause people can talk then without feelin' all guilty.

@S not your fault! They're nice enough I suppose; bit dark an' cramped but they have possums so they aren't too bad.

[Susan proceeds to examine the glasses in the mirror, frowning slightly.]
No, not at all. I've never worn them before.
I'm Susan, by the way.

[and then, knowing what she knows, her eyes go wide and she puts a hand to her mouth. It muffles the words she can't help but say]
I'm so sorry.
