006 [A Master of Disguise]

[At first glance, the figure that appears on the Plane doesn’t look much like Susan Foreman. Instead of her favoured dark stripes and human fashions, she is dressed in a white coat and highly unusual glasses.]

Excuse me ... does anybody have a mirror I could use?

[She pushes up the glasses and reveals her face. The situation is rather precarious in her own world at the moment, and she needs a few moments to herself before she rejoins the Doctor and Zoe. Her trip to the Plane is nothing to do with vanity, although she's rather hoping that people will assume that. It might stop them from asking too many questions.]

I don't think it looks quite right.

[And it has to look right. She doesn't want to think about what will happen if they get caught out.]

OOC: 'The War Games' continues. I was tempted to skip straight to the final episode, but the glasses were too awesome to pass up.

Well, for me it is 'cause I'm not all that good at it... But I know plenty of people who have brought the dead back! I've even met a few dead people' although they seemed a bit depressed about it all to be honest- I don't think they like being undead much.

I... Think so? They're lovely whatever they are; sometimes I wish I could live on a entire world of them- it'd be such fun!

Fair enough; they're nothing to get scared over though- and they'd be back very quickly if all went well.

...Probably; perhaps they could come too! Although Sophia hates possums, she says that they're evil and planning to take over the world; she has no taste at all.

Oh, she's my friend! Lovely woman; trapped in the caves with me actually... She got me out of the castle and introduced me to all these adventures; she's a bit miserable at the moment but you can hardly blame her- she does have good reason after all.

[The subject change worked so well that she even looks rather sad now!]

[She looks slightly shocked for a moment and then returns to her beaming; best to put a happy face on things!]

Oh, no worries! If you take offence at everything you're never going to have any fun at all- best to just get on with life even if it can be a bit depressing; you can't fight for the light if you can't see the dark after all! Who do you live with?

Who do I live with? [The question, tacked so suddenly on to the end of such a ramble, takes Susan by surprise.] My grandfather, and our friends Zoe and Jamie.

[Cally does that a lot] That's nice! I live with my two friends too- though my grandfather doesn't travel with us; he'd probably hate it to be honest. He hates a lot really. It's nice to travel with friends though! You can have such fun.

Yeah... [Pause; as she starts looking all sad and reflective] sometimes you can't save everybody an' that's just sad really- but you have to try and make the best of everything!
