[aaand here's Vash, wearing something weird and blue right now, looking incredibly excited. There's a few big, yellow feathers stuck to him that he seems to be ignoring.]

I should've stopped to pop in here earlier, but I've been so busy! A few days ago, I woke up in someone else's bed! And there was a woman in the room with me! She kept calling me 'Cloud', and said her name was Tifa, and why was I pretending that I didn't know her? I tried to explain that I wasn't who she said I was, but she didn't listen to me.

Then she fed me breakfast! And get this, she owns a bar! Oh, she takes care of orphaned children, too! This cute little girl that also lives there painted a flower on my face! Ahh, I think I've found my perfect woman~

After that, I had to go deliver packages all over the city. There was this motorcycle I think I was supposed to use, but I sort, uhm, crashed it into a wall. But that's okay, because Tifa helped me find this yellow bird-thing they call a Chocobo to ride around on! It's funny, they look different from Tomases but remind me of them a lot. Except they don't smell nearly as bad.

... So I guess this is something else I can blame on the Astral Plane, huh?

There was an earthquake! And then Milo's armor tried to bite me. And I was attacked by birds. And now there's all these roses kind of creeping down from higher up the stairs, and I think they're the ones that Mu warned me about.

[Grumbling,] It's like I've suddenly got the worst luck in the world.

[Smiles back.] Not that I don't have generally bad luck, but...it feels different this time. Like everything's intentional.

[frowns, thinking this over for a moment] Do you think someone's doing it on purpose?

Well, there's gods in the world I'm in, so it might be their doing. But I somehow think it has to do with the Twins.

I'd say it's more likely to be the twins than your religion. So this must be another of those experiment things?

Ah, well it's not my religion. It's the religion of the world I'm...borrowing.

Maybe they're testing what happens to people when they're in other people's worlds?

Oh. That's probably it, but I don't see what the bad luck has to do with that.
