[O hay plane, remember Dorothy Gale? The little girl from Kansas who... well, is kind of tall now, actually, and not really so little anymore, but shut up. She's been gone for a month. A MONTH. Why the absence, you may be wondering.
Well, here she is, carrying a little tooled-leather trunk and what appears to be a chocolate shake. Why don't you go ASK her?]
[ps: i'm back :3 HELLO I LOVE YOU GUYS OKAY]

[She shows this by lurking.]
[With an ice cream cone.]

Hey, sport! C'mere a second.
[And she waves at Henrietta. Or, she waves her milkshake at her, since she doesn't exactly have a free hand.]</i.

[She places her trunk on the ground and kneels in front of it, putting her milkshake aside to open the trunk and rummage around inside. She produces a little stuffed-animal horse, made of patchwork calico in shades of brown and cream, with shiny brass-button eyes and a mane and tail made of yarn, stuffed with sawdust. It looks handmade! Dorothy hands it to Henrietta.]
Happy New Year!

Oh, hush. Who died and made you King Of The Plane?
[She just playin'. It is not her fault for being a little irritable after her month away, after all.]

[While she is not exactly hiding her mysterious trunk from the Master, she is also doing a very good job of not drawing attention to it. HMM.]
Nice to see you again, by the way.

What do you have there?
no subject
New Years gifts! Since I wasn't around on the day to give 'em out. Better late than never, right?
[Placing the trunk on the ground, she opens it and rummages around for a while. It appears to be quite a bit bigger on the inside. Huh.]
Now what the heck did I do with yours...

[watches her rooting around, and he might be excited. He might also be fighting off a sheepish feeling over having nothing to offer her in exchange]
You didn't have to do that!

[Straightening, she offers him a little black velvet drawstring bag of the type gems and the like are kept in. There's a tag on it that says "TO HENRY. HAPPY NEW YEAR"]
Happy New Year!
[She BEAMS. Inside it is a rather large, hefty coin, of a bright, shiny silver. On one side is the profile of Ozma herself, and on the other is the Seal of Oz, an oval with the letters O and Z interlocked with some lovely nouveau flair. There's a little handwritten card included that reads "ENCHANTED COIN: Will Answer any Yes-Or-No Question Posed to it, with Heads Acting as Yes and Tails Acting as No".]
Do you like it? [This is Dorothy's hopeful face.]

It's chocolate. I'm in heaven.
[She grins at Martha for a second, and then her eyes go wide]
Oh! Hold on a minute...
[Dropping her trunk, she kneels down in front of it and puts her shake aside, then opens the trunk and starts to rummage through it. Eventually she comes up with a silver chain necklace, on the end of which is a large cabochon-cut emerald in a silver setting. There's a tag on the chain-- "HAPPY NEW YEAR". This is, apparently, for Martha!]
Happy New Year! Hope you like it.

[her eyes practically bug out as she takes the necklace] This is for me?
no subject
[She looks a little sheepish] Is it okay? I mean, I know jewelry's something that's tough to fit to people's personalities, and all. It's okay if you don't like it.

I was starting to think you'd moved on to greener pastures.
no subject
Aw, after a month in the greenest pasture of them all, I was practically itchin' to get back here. Besides, I missed everybody. How was your New Year's?
