[Somebody's returned to the plane-- and this time she's got a rather large picnic basket hanging from the crook of her elbow. Kneeling, she takes the red-and-white checked blanket tucked into the top of the blanket and spreads it over the ground. From the basket she unpacks paper plates, forks, napkins, and...
And PIES. Lots and lots of fresh, hot, delicious-smelling home-baked pies.]
I promised pie, and pie I deliver. Anybody want a slice?

C'mon over! Nothin' to be afraid of. Got a great big slice of cherry pie here with your name on it!

[Ooh. Strawberry rhubarb. She cuts a slice and puts it on a plate, holding it out to him] Tell me what you think. Too sweet?

[accepts the plate and tries it, politely waiting until he's done chewing to grin]
Now, that is lovely! Not too sweet at all.

[Oh dear, she thinks he's the Other Ten.] I think it was strawberry rhubarb, wasn't it? Now what do you mean, larger on the inside?

What flavor would you like? I've got apple, pecan, pumpkin spice, cherry...

I smell pie. Is that you?

[She has SO MANY KINDS. It looks like there's slices taken out of the pecan, cherry, apple and strawberry rhubarb kinds, but there's still an entire pumpkin pie left.]
Come on, sit down with me. You look like you could do with some relaxing, anyway!

Did you say pie?

I sure did, c'mon over and get a slice!--... Oh, dear. I don't mean to be rude, but are you another Doctor? Only you look just like him, and there seem to be an awful lot of him about.

What have you got?
Sorta, yeah, but not really. Take the Doctor, make him human, add a dose of Donna Noble - have you met Donna? - and that's me, basically. I think. It's a bit long and complicated, and I think if I actually thought too much about it, there might be a great deal of hand waving. And I can't really eat pie with hands waving all over the place.
