[for the first time in weeks, Menzies stands on the Plane looking completely like her normal self. her eyes aren't glowing, she's not sniffly or congested, and there is no rash on her neck. she's wearing a suit like usual, but today it's unruffled, and her hair is pulled back neatly. and most of all, she can see]
[she cups her hands around her mouth, making a shouted announcement at anyone in the area] Oi, anybody who's been sick from that blue pollen! We've found a way to stop it!
[lowering her hands, she waits a moment for anyone who means to approach before explaining:] Think about the symptoms: sneezing, itching, a rash--it's like an allergy. So 'ow do you deal with it? Allergy medicine. If you've got it in your world, get some and take it. If not, we'll get it for you. After that, whatever's wrong will slowly disappear.
[she smiles, relieved and thrilled that they've solved something for once] And it'll be over.
[ooc: Feel free to use this as a mingle post and thread-hop to help each other. Let's solve the plot together!]

Wh-... Really? That's... That's all we need? For real?

Can you get allergy meds in your world?
no subject
Yeah, I can get some. I'll get a bunch just in case some people can't and bring it here. [A pause... and then he laughs a bit. It's so very clear how relieved this kid is.] Thank the Goddess... I was startin' to think I was stuck like this!!

[including his own rather interesting eyes, which she's wondering about. she has a feeling they have something to do with the snippets she learned from him about the experiments he's suffered. but thankfully, now that the experiment is over, she's easily able to think better of asking and stay quiet on the matter for now]

She's currently sitting in one of the rooms that she's pretty much claimed as her own, wrapped up in a towel, tying the red ties back into her hair.]

[He really needs to work on his lyrics.]

Pretty good for improvisation, though I don't think I want to know what a hungry universe would eat. Even metaphorically.

But he has managed to find a costume in the ballroom that looks at least a bit like his kilt, so maybe if someone comes across him they'll be able to put two and two together.]
Och, that's a relief.
[He'll figure some way to get some, somehow.]

Aye, I'm here.
[It's still not any more understandable than it has been, and Jamie knows it, but he hopes it's resigned enough in tone that at least comes across.]

Okay, no idea what you said. But...do you know what I'm saying?

You're fucking kidding me! [Sorry for the swearing, but REALLY? Allergy medicine? This is just a new kind of low, even for his standards...]

[because yes, she is still trying to work out what he can and can't do]

You've gotten cheeky, girl. [And just because he knows that she's just dying to see some power demonstration here, he holds out his palm where a small box materializes. It's the medicine. He's more brave to use his powers now that Menzies can't see more than she should.] That wasn't that flashy was it, huh. [He snorts as he opens it and helps himself a pill.]
Ya know, I'm still not happy for what you've done last time we met. I thought we were friends. [His tone is casual, while he's absently looking at the box of pills.]

[she finds that comment rather amusing, considering she's been cheeky all along. but she is surprised by the sudden materialisation of the box--which naturally means she has to give a sarcastic comment] Ohhh, no, not flashy in the least! No shock factor, even. I'm disappointed.
[but at his next comment, she tenses a little, realising this conversation is more serious than she thought. she keeps her tone light and sarcastic, though. if he's going to play that game, she's going to play it right back] Yeah, well, I've got the safety of a lot of people to worry about 'round 'ere. Doesn't exactly help, having somebody who won't talk about 'is powers or 'is intentions. Hard to know how dangerous he might be, don't you think?

Allergy meds. Seriously? That's really what will make this go away if...I'm actually affected.
