[011]

[for the first time in weeks, Menzies stands on the Plane looking completely like her normal self. her eyes aren't glowing, she's not sniffly or congested, and there is no rash on her neck. she's wearing a suit like usual, but today it's unruffled, and her hair is pulled back neatly. and most of all, she can see]

[she cups her hands around her mouth, making a shouted announcement at anyone in the area]
Oi, anybody who's been sick from that blue pollen! We've found a way to stop it!

[lowering her hands, she waits a moment for anyone who means to approach before explaining:] Think about the symptoms: sneezing, itching, a rash--it's like an allergy. So 'ow do you deal with it? Allergy medicine. If you've got it in your world, get some and take it. If not, we'll get it for you. After that, whatever's wrong will slowly disappear.

[she smiles, relieved and thrilled that they've solved something for once] And it'll be over.

[ooc: Feel free to use this as a mingle post and thread-hop to help each other. Let's solve the plot together!]

[There's a nod, and the same sort of gurgly sound he said a moment before.]

Aye.

[Granted, he's not sure what that'll accomplish, other than maybe a round of twenty questions as she tries to figure out who she is, and he frowns a little, thinking. After a moment, he makes a motion with his claw in the air, a letter 'J', then points at himself. He can write somewhat, too, if that helps.]

[Jamie nods - and then, after a moment of thought, nods again for good measure. He could go back to the TARDIS, and try and figure out a way to explain things to the Doctor, but who knows what would happen if he tried? And if for some reason there were somewhere outside of the TARDIS, things could go very wrong. So Menzies' plan sounds really good to him.]

Could ye? Please?

[He nods again to show he understands, then he gingerly takes the package with his taloned hand. Hopefully he won't stick a claw through it or lose the pills some other way.]

Aye. I'll see what I can do.

[But that does bring up a good question. How is he supposed to actually open the the thing the way it is right now? He turns his hand around, something slightly baffled in his expression, then he tries to slip a clawed thumb under the edge of the package to see if that'll get it open.]

[There's no objections on his end, and there's something grateful in his eyes as he takes the pill.]

Thank you.

[Then he claps his hand to his mouth, swallowing the pill before he can drop it or lose it. It's not the most pleasant sensation doing so without water, but a little discomfort will be worth it in the end. Then he makes a circular sort of motion on his wrist, trying to mime a watch, before pointing at her - then back at himself.]

How long did it take it to work?

[A couple of hours? Somehow, even as a beastie, Jamie manages to look dismayed.]

That long? Och.

[Well, he can't very well go back to the TARDIS to wait it out, not like this. The question is, then, what is he going to do with himself? He scratches the back of his head with a talon, looking around for some sort of inspiration.]

Well, Jamie, now what? [He glances back at Menzies, giving her a thoughtful look. But since she's likely got to stick around and tell anyone else who shows up about the medicine, it wouldn't be fair to keep her from it. So he points at himself, then makes a 'walking' sort of motion as best as he can with his clawed fingers...then points at the forest.]

Aye, well. I might as well go for a walk while I'm waiting. Thank ye again.
