[A young woman appears not far from the bar wearing a pale pink two piece suit and loose caramel hair framing her face. Understandably, she's rather confused.]

Hello? Can someone tell me exactly what is going on? I really must get back, my next meeting is in an hour and I still need to look over the files for the negotiations.

[Relena frowns a little and approaches the nearest person to her. Admittedly, she was a little distorted by the scenery. Was she in space? That couldn't be possible! She was in a store a moment ago in her own city of all places. ]

Excuse me, can you kindly explain where I am? None of this is making sense. Is that space out there? How can I be in space and not on a shuttle or a colony? Can you please point me in the direction of someone that can tell me what exactly is going on? I really need to get back.

[Relena just can't help but smile a little in an attempt to soothe the nervous woman. True, she looked older than Relena, but still, diplomacy was always the best course.]

I think Matti is a lovely name, I hope you don't mind me calling you that? Now, can you explain to me exactly what you mean by Astral Plane? How do I get back home?

[Relena nodded, accepting her answer for the moment. If Matti didn't know what exactly this place was, that was fine. At least she got a name and a few answers.]

Can you explain that more? I'm not sure I quite understand, what do you mean travel between this and .. my reality? How is this even possible?

H-honestly, I... r-really don't know... S-strange things happen all the time in m-my reality, so... I-I never questioned it that much... I-I guess... [The rest of that trails into mumbles and the occasional audible "maple".]

[She felt a delicate eyebrow raise. Strange things? Relena was half tempted to ask what she meant by that. With a sigh Relena just nods and accepts this for now.]

Alright. Say Matti? Could you show me around? I'd hate to get lost here.

[He was on his way to the hangar to finish making final preparations on Wing Zero. He and Duo were about to go off and take on Romefeller. Once he heard her voice he stopped, looking over to where Relena was standing.]

[Her eyes widened slightly as a pleased smile graced her lips. Didn't she see him not that long ago? On her birthday no less, though she still wished he would have given her the teddy bear in person.]

[Well, that was an interesting, yet familiar sight. Relena popped up here, did she? Duo stood within sight of both of them, watching from afar. And he figured he was wise to do so.]

[She took a step closer, peering at the pilot. There was just something different and she couldn't pinpoint it. For now, she let it go. Relena was just happy to see him again. Perhaps he would stick around this time?]

Well Heero, it seems I don't have a clue where I am. Perhaps you can tell me about this place and show me around?

[He would look a bit older to her, maybe even a little taller. At the very least, he had exchanged his spandex shorts for jeans.]

This is a place called the Astral Plane. It appears to be a dumping point for different worlds.

[Then he noticed Duo standing there and he frowned slightly. They had things to do.]

[Morgana likes to be helpful to newcomers, given how completely confused she was on her own arrival.] I can tell you how to get back. [A brief pause, though, because wait. What is a shuttle? But lots of people are from strange worlds, and she can ask that later.] And you will not have lost any time here, so your meeting shouldn't trouble you.

[That relieves her a little along with adding to her confusion. How can it be easy to get back when she appeared to be in space? What was meant by not loosing any time?]

I would greatly appreciate any answers you are willing to give me. This just seems to be a little much to take in right now.

I don't know how much of it you'll be familiar with to start. The people here are from different worlds, with laws that are nothing like those of my own. All have been brought together, connected by this place and the experiment it purports to be. [There's the flash of anger in that. Morgana does not care for the injustice.] This place itself connects all those worlds. You could even bring someone from here back to your home if you did wish. But it stands outside all worlds and so as time moves forward here it does not pass where you are from.

[Hearing that this is some sort of 'experiment' doesn't sit well with Relena either. Neither does being here in the first place.]

Then, do you mind if I ask a few questions? Does anyone know how this world came to be? Can anyone go to your own reality or do they need an escort? Exactly, how do you get home or back for that matter?

[She smiles; she does not mind at all.] If anybody knows, I do not. So far it seems that an escort is usually needed, yet I have been moved between worlds against my own will and without the consent of those whose worlds I've visited. But to travel between this place and your home, you only need to think of one or the other, and you will be moved.

Alright, and what about the passage of time in our own realities? What happens when we are here? What about in between visits to this place?

While we are here, it is as if no time passes at home, or as if we are returned to the moment we left. I do not know how it is done. While we are in our homes, I do not know how it is that time moves here. It seems there are others more familiar with this kind of science; I only know that time here is hard to track and seems to move at an unpredictable pace.

Interesting and I admit, very convenient. Though I would like to know more about how this is even possible from one stand point or another. I'm afraid so far the small reading material and being told about what is happening doesn't explain as much as I would wish at the moment.

From my stand point, this should be impossible in every meaning of the word.
