[A young woman appears not far from the bar wearing a pale pink two piece suit and loose caramel hair framing her face. Understandably, she's rather confused.]

Hello? Can someone tell me exactly what is going on? I really must get back, my next meeting is in an hour and I still need to look over the files for the negotiations.

[Relena frowns a little and approaches the nearest person to her. Admittedly, she was a little distorted by the scenery. Was she in space? That couldn't be possible! She was in a store a moment ago in her own city of all places. ]

Excuse me, can you kindly explain where I am? None of this is making sense. Is that space out there? How can I be in space and not on a shuttle or a colony? Can you please point me in the direction of someone that can tell me what exactly is going on? I really need to get back.

[He was on his way to the hangar to finish making final preparations on Wing Zero. He and Duo were about to go off and take on Romefeller. Once he heard her voice he stopped, looking over to where Relena was standing.]

[Relena just can't help but smile a little in an attempt to soothe the nervous woman. True, she looked older than Relena, but still, diplomacy was always the best course.]

Please try to relax, I'm sure whatever help you can give me will be enough. I am Relena Peacecraft-Darlian. It's a pleasure to meet you Miss..?

[Her eyes widened slightly as a pleased smile graced her lips. Didn't she see him not that long ago? On her birthday no less, though she still wished he would have given her the teddy bear in person.]

[She does calm down a little. But as Matti is prone to, she's still fidgeting as she talks and very quiet.]

M-Matti Williams... O-Or Canada... w-w-whichever sounds better... l-let me see... y-you're in the Astral Plane... y-you can leave whenever you want, and time freezes while you're here, eh... i-it's kind of helpful when you've got annoying family members around... e-eh...

I think Matti is a lovely name, I hope you don't mind me calling you that? Now, can you explain to me exactly what you mean by Astral Plane? How do I get back home?

[Relena wasn't sure why Matti referenced Canada, but that question could be held off on until she knew what exactly was going on.]

[Relena nodded, accepting her answer for the moment. If Matti didn't know what exactly this place was, that was fine. At least she got a name and a few answers.]

Can you explain that more? I'm not sure I quite understand, what do you mean travel between this and .. my reality? How is this even possible?

H-honestly, I... r-really don't know... S-strange things happen all the time in m-my reality, so... I-I never questioned it that much... I-I guess... [The rest of that trails into mumbles and the occasional audible "maple".]

[She felt a delicate eyebrow raise. Strange things? Relena was half tempted to ask what she meant by that. With a sigh Relena just nods and accepts this for now.]

Alright. Say Matti? Could you show me around? I'd hate to get lost here.

[Well, that was an interesting, yet familiar sight. Relena popped up here, did she? Duo stood within sight of both of them, watching from afar. And he figured he was wise to do so.]

[She took a step closer, peering at the pilot. There was just something different and she couldn't pinpoint it. For now, she let it go. Relena was just happy to see him again. Perhaps he would stick around this time?]

Well Heero, it seems I don't have a clue where I am. Perhaps you can tell me about this place and show me around?

[He would look a bit older to her, maybe even a little taller. At the very least, he had exchanged his spandex shorts for jeans.]

This is a place called the Astral Plane. It appears to be a dumping point for different worlds.

[Then he noticed Duo standing there and he frowned slightly. They had things to do.]

[Yes, maybe it's best Relena doesn't ask. When Matti means strange, she means it in the worst of ways.]

A-ah... I-I wouldn't be the person to ask... I-I still don't know my way around very well... A-ah..! I-if you see Mu... h-he pretty much knows everything...

[Yeah they did. It was quickly coming up to the time they set to go into action. He approached the two.] Hey Heero.

So the machine decided kidnap the princess too, huh?

[Before Relena could even ask another voice spoke up. She turned towards the source and paused, not recognizing who it was. It's obvious they knew Heero and what was going on but really, that could mean anything.

But, how did he know she had been a princess?]

I am no longer a princess, and I haven't been for awhile now. Now what do you mean 'machine'? What's going on?

[She tilted her head a little, curious. Were there people that could tell her more?Who ran this place?]

E-er... I don't know him very well, but he's very nice, he's usually there to greet new arrivals before long, and he has an answer for everything, even if the problem seems stupid... I-I've kind of depended on him for sanity a few times, eh...

Don't recognize me, 'lady'? [He'd only met Relena twice in the path, and the first time they met they had a hat. That was all he had. To Heero, he nods.]

Yeah. That's right. But we couldn't tell you what the machine actually is.

[Relena nods a little to herself before smiling at Matti once more.]

Well then, how about we walk around for a bit until he shows up? If he's usually here to greet new arrivals, then it shouldn't be long right?

[The 'strangers' words prompted her to take a closer look. He was.. familiar. Especially those eyes. Where had she seen them before? Relena frowned before glancing up at Heero and then back to the other.

Something was off and she wasn't sure if she liked it. Heero seemed older than the last time she saw him and this stranger looked almost like... Almost like Duo! Her eyes widened a little as she stared at him. Perhaps..it is him? But last time she saw him, he had a braid.]

...Duo? Is that you? Will someone please, explain to me exactly what's going on here? I can't help but feel a little lost, and I would really appreciate being clued into what's going on.
