Excuse - excuse me. After everything that happened and everyone being stuck here, there was a lot of things we didn't know. In order to avoid too much confusion in the future, or if people leave and new people find themselves stuck here, I thought it would be a good idea to collect information we can look back on later. Of course - of course this isn't required, but it would be really helpful. So - so if you could fill out one of these surveys and put it in the basket when you're finished it would really help, it would help a lot!

If anyone has an idea of where we could keep this information, it would help out a lot, too. The library doesn't seem like such a good idea now. I can take care of organizing and managing it, but it would be very welcome if anyone had space here to offer.

[she looks to the bowl and items on her right]

Also, [she fidgets, looking down and blushing, before looking up, determined once again] in my universe it's approaching the winter holiday season and I thought, maybe, we could use this as a way to get to know each other. So if anyone would be interested in doing a Secret Santa you can put your name in the bowl here. When it looks like we have enough people we can draw names.

And - and if anyone has any other ideas, please let me know!

[thoughtfully] People here seem to be experiencing different seasons as well as different years and worlds. Is it December in London right now?

[He shakes his head.] It's April, actually. But it's December for you, then.

[she nods] Since - since years and seasons are different, do you think the way time passes might be different, too?

I can't be sure. We could do a measure of time between our worlds. It will have to be timed carefully to be as accurate as possible.

Hm...but - but if time moves differently for us in our worlds, how can we time it exactly?

It won't be easy but we could sit together with precise clocks and start measuring from a decided point.

The clocks could move differently once we go home if time moves differently, since a clock is just a measure of time passing.

Hmm. [Sherlock pauses.] What sort of experiment would you suggest?

One of the brochures mentions seeing people in your reality even though they're in their own. If we could meet up somehow and compare how our clocks move that might work.

That seems logical enough. The clocks need to be as precise as possible. They'll also need the date.

Do you have any clocks like that?

[With a slight smile.] Of course. Do you need one?

[she nods]

You're - you're very well-equipped, Sherlock-sama. You must do lots of experiments all the time.

I prefer to always have an experiment or two going, yes.

What do you have going on right now?

Right now, I'm studying how water effects a corpse through varying temperatures.

Oh, I see!

How does it effect a corpse through varying temperatures?

I'm still studying it. Higher temperatures are more difficult to study. I can use liquid nitrogen for any cold tests but heat tests require more equipment.

Maybe - maybe you can bring your experiments here, since you'll have more room. I'm sure there are people here with different technologies that might help with the heat tests.

I might, actually. The flat can only withstand so much.

[After a moment, he reaches out, taking up a pen and slip of paper. He scribbles his name and drops it into the bowl.]

[she stops as she sees Sherlock filling out the slip and she may be inwardly gleeing]

I know whoever you pick will be very lucky! With your deductive skills, there's no way you could pick an unwanted gift!
