[she clears her throat]

Excuse - excuse me. After everything that happened and everyone being stuck here, there was a lot of things we didn't know. In order to avoid too much confusion in the future, or if people leave and new people find themselves stuck here, I thought it would be a good idea to collect information we can look back on later. Of course - of course this isn't required, but it would be really helpful. So - so if you could fill out one of these surveys and put it in the basket when you're finished it would really help, it would help a lot!

If anyone has an idea of where we could keep this information, it would help out a lot, too. The library doesn't seem like such a good idea now. I can take care of organizing and managing it, but it would be very welcome if anyone had space here to offer.

[she looks to the bowl and items on her right]

Also, [she fidgets, looking down and blushing, before looking up, determined once again] in my universe it's approaching the winter holiday season and I thought, maybe, we could use this as a way to get to know each other. So if anyone would be interested in doing a Secret Santa you can put your name in the bowl here. When it looks like we have enough people we can draw names.

And - and if anyone has any other ideas, please let me know!

[she bows] Thank you.

I've only ever really done it with my family, but - but I'm sure if we pay close enough attention, it shouldn't be too hard.

[He looks at her curiously.]

Do you usually celebrate Christmas with them?

[she nods]

My dad takes it really seriously. Really really seriously. It's very important to him.

You said you usually don't exchange gifts. Does that mean you and your family don't celebrate?

[He snorts.] Mycroft does. He's very traditionalist. Family gathered 'round at Christmas and all that.

That's - that's wonderful! I bet he puts a lot of thought into making it a special day for everyone.

He probably has all his many assistants work on it.

Oh-oh-oh! He must be very important to have so many assistants.

He basically is the British government.

Oh. So he's Prime Minister.

[Amused.] No, no. He works from the shadows. The real power rests with him and I try not to think about how much of the world is ultimately dancing to his strings.

Is that - is that the usual way for governments to operate?

Well, it depends on the government. Usually, the real power isn't in the obvious places.

Oh. So, so what kind of places would you usually find the real power?

People who manage to stay out of the spotlight and never tell you what they really do.
