[Dying is always annoying and painful, and Benny has had to live through dying one more time. Although it's the first time she's come back pumped full of black sparkly blood - she thinks, although she isn't aware of the blood part quite yet. Give her a few hours though and she'll find out accidentally or something because she's dumb.]

[She stretches a bit, feeling herself out again, and seems an odd combination of cranky and overly cheerful]

Yes, let's not do that again. [she stretches some more, standing on tip toes and arms stretching up and over her head] And Brax, if you're around, don't think I didn't spot you up there with that cognac. I'm still expecting it, wherever you happen to be.

[and now she's just wandering around and feeling herself out still, because coming back from the dead does feel weird, even if it's happened before]

Oh, I'm fine. Nothing like dying to give you a new lease on life, I say. Although I do feel a bit stiff.

There's probably a pun there to make that I'm just not up for making quite yet, I think.

{...The pun is lost on Caster, so she raises her hand, her fingertips glowing.}

Excuse me. {And, briefly, she presses them to Bernice's forehead. But her hand goes to her chin, looking thoughtful}

[she frowns in confusion, unsure of what is happening]

Not entirely. They did have tea though, so at least they're polite about it.

{Her ears actually twitch--it's sort of a nervous tic} It is not detrimental, as far as I can tell.

Yes, well I'm sure I can tell that to whoever it is I accidentally bleed on next time I'm injured. Oh my blood, didn't you hear, black and glittery is the new crimson.

If it is that much of a concern, I can use a minor charm to change its color. It will still be the same, but it would at least look more...suitable.

Can you change the appearance of anything?

Not anything, but it depends on what needs changing.

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'd rather avoid any spells or magic or whatever it is. I'd prefer it if I could remain even the smallest fraction untinkered with if I could.
