[Dying is always annoying and painful, and Benny has had to live through dying one more time. Although it's the first time she's come back pumped full of black sparkly blood - she thinks, although she isn't aware of the blood part quite yet. Give her a few hours though and she'll find out accidentally or something because she's dumb.]

[She stretches a bit, feeling herself out again, and seems an odd combination of cranky and overly cheerful]

Yes, let's not do that again. [she stretches some more, standing on tip toes and arms stretching up and over her head] And Brax, if you're around, don't think I didn't spot you up there with that cognac. I'm still expecting it, wherever you happen to be.

[and now she's just wandering around and feeling herself out still, because coming back from the dead does feel weird, even if it's happened before]

Brax! [Benny is still overly cheerful, rolling her shoulders and walking over to him] There's a chiropractor on the Collection, isn't there? I really think I should make an appointment. Or perhaps a masseu - [her sentence trails off and she stops short as she sees his eyes and takes in how quiet he is. She looks at him and then hugs him tightly, her voice quiet so only he can hear] Do I want to ask what you got up to while I was away, darling?

[Braxiatel doesn't stiffen or draw away. He just wraps his arms around her and rests his chin on the top of her head.]

My Creator repaired the remaining damage. [Then he gives her a slight smile.] She is all right. He repaired her and she is well again.

[this Doctor, unlike his previous self, has not been going to the death matches. instead, he's been busy plotting and tinkering with a device or two, so he isn't aware of her--or any of the other's fights, for that matter--but judging from her words, he can put two and two together. but! just to double check...]

Benny...please tell me that "again" didn't mean what I think it means. [and in this case, he means the whole fighting in a death match thing.]

[Oliver's return did much to reassure Jamie that people do come back after dying here, but he's still relieved when he spots Benny, as well. Moreso than when he ran across Oliver, actually, considering whose match he attended.]

I'm glad to be back! A bit of a relief really, as it would've been a bit bothersome to be really properly dead.

[There's a very Scottish sounding noise in the back of his throat at her mention of blood-filled onsens and deathmatches being cheerful.] Mmmphm. Ye have a very odd definition of the word cheerful, Professor, but ye have a point. I'd not thought that it'd be like this when I first came here. Makes traveling with the Doctor look like a picnic, aye?
