Right. So I believe this is the bit where I address whoever it is that may have brought me to...whatever this is here. While it's very flattering to get whisked away on an unexpected holiday to ... a very elaborate [spots a misplaced constellation] very inaccurate, very expansive variety of observatory, I would ask that you kindly instruct me on the how the hell to get out of this place.

[when there is still no answer, Benny falls back into that lovely habit of just talking to thin air]

Really, this isn't any desire to be rude. Normally I would probably love to have a go around this place. Don't think I didn't spot the Coliseum you have set up there as well as that early 20th century cinema. Top-notch, really. As it were though, I am just a bit busy at the moment. Things to do, people to see, all that nonsense.

[pause, and still nothing. Sigh. Benny is starting to feel just a tad irritable now, and it can be heard in her voice, which she is doing her best to keep casual and carefree]

And if the man behind the curtain here turns out to be Anson, well, I will have to hand it to you that you've definitely gone above and beyond what I normally expect of you. So now that this part is over with, you've done the entire disorienting the archaeologist bit, perhaps you could let me know which way to the exit.

[shakes her head] Neither of those, unfortunately. But...the boyish charm might apply to the one I know, and the eyes--just don't ever tell him I said so. The one I know wears fitted pinstripe suits with trainers, is skinny as a rail and has hair that goes up all over the place. He's handsome, I'll give him that, but it's given him trouble in the past from the sounds of it.

I wonder if yours is older or younger than mine.

But pinstripes with trainers? If it is a later one, he seems to have lost all sense of fashion with his regenerations. If he's younger, I guess it is forgivable, errors of youth, we've all made them.

Did yours ever say what number regeneration they were on? One Doctor I've met here said that my Doctor is the tenth version of him.

But since it is that space dunce we're talking about, I have to wonder if he ever had a lick of fashion sense no matter what his age...

I'll have to think on that one. The last few months have scattered things just a bit. If he has, I'll have it written down somewhere.

I don't know, the Victorian attire was very nice. Not what I would choose for myself, but it did work well for him.

[she feels like she ought to be playing I-spy with all these Doctors]

Maybe he's the exception. [smiles] Enough about the Doctor, though. We'd be here for days! Did you want to learn how to go home?

[she laughs] Oh you're absolutely right. How boring, prattling on about some bloke. I promised myself I would never be that brand of female protagonist.

[takes a deep breath and straightens up] Yes, right, getting home. If you wouldn't mind.

[laughs too]

Once you find out how easy it is, you'll be kicking yourself for days. I know I did.

All right. All you have to do is think about going home and leaving the Plane and you'll be home. Time doesn't pass while we're here. Told you this place was mad. Anyway, to get back, you do the same thing, but in reverse. That's it.

[she looks at Donna skeptically, but then she actually does drop and a minute later she returns]

That's it? Really? That is ... that's a bit too simple, don't you think?

[she smiles a bit smugly] Oh, I thought so too, but I did warn you you'd be kicking yourself.

Yes but travel of that nature, it shouldn't be that smooth. It should be just a tad bit bumpy, wouldn't you agree?

Maybe, but I welcome the change, you know? You remember what it's like in the TARDIS.
