[The Doctor is back again, but he doesn't look as though he's entirely there, so to speak. His eyes are haunted and weary -- seeing random glimpses of Gallifrey that only fade away again (not to mention the more permanent bits in his garden) is still taking a toll on his sanity. So he's escaping to the Plane in search of a distraction. Preferably one that involves death traps trouble. To anyone who might be willing to help him out in that department;]

Oi! Have any of you lot seen a bloke named Dr. Crane lately?

It sucks, but they hardly ever do. You'd think they'd just take the "go straight to Arkham, do not pass go" without a few broken bones or bruised ribs to go with it.

[stalks up to Nine, obviously irritated and with a complicated-looking piece of machinery tucked under one arm. The note that the Doctor left for him is also tucked away, somewhere in his robes.]

I ordered you to stay out of my laboratory, Doctor.

[he tenses on instinct when he sees him, but he shoves down any hint of panic, forcing himself to remain calm. Oliver had said Omega hadn't meant to kill him, and he believed him. Mostly. He wanted to, anyway.] I know. But it was the only way I could think of to get the message to you. Didn't touch anything, promise.

[Omega merely huffs, then after a moment's consideration, holds out the piece of machinery. The Doctor might recognise it as a piece of the temporal vector stabiliser from his TARDIS. It also looks as though it's been recently repaired.]

Take better care of your ship.

[he stares at the machinery, completely speechless for a moment. Repairing a bit of his beloved ship is about the biggest apology you could ever give him, Omega.] Might help if I had someone around to help me once in awhile.

[Brax's expression is the level mouth of mild indifference matched with focussed eyes that suggest a Spanish Inquisition is coming the Doctor's way if Brax senses so much as a hint that the Doctor is about to get himself killed again.]

Thete, I know there are flaws in this body of yours, but is the hair of your next form won't make up for how scrawny he is, so why are you trying to get yourself killed? Again?
