[Dripping down every door in the onsen.]

[Human blood, rich and fresh, slipping to the floors, slowly, then disappearing into nothing. The flow goes on like a wound that will not clot. And of course, there is the smell.]

[It's perfectly real, perfectly nutritious for those with a sanguine diet. Some of it is the night-and-starlight blood of those who have died on the Plane.]

[And it just won't seem to wash off.]

[ooc; What? He was bored, and he figures that the vampires are probably a bit hungry. As Scarecrow isn't going to own up to What He Does When Given Shiny Rings, feel free to use this as an event post. That is, other characters are encouraged to comment to each other, because Dr Crane won't be responding to everyone about it. This effect will last until the end of the plot.]

Sorin's vampires have problems with control; fairly big problems- ones that hover around house sized to be accurate. Sorin luckily has managed to avoid most of these- eight years or so of poverty before he became a vampire have taught him that most addictions are not needed... But blood; now there's a thought- his entire body shakes at the very thought of it.

This is definitely not just a thought though; this is real- so real that it's actually painful; balling deep inside him and throbbing- the hunger will never end; the hunger can never end- he will constantly be its slave and he cannot escape the pull. He cannot deny it- it's his main weakness.

So, there is now a Sorin with his mouth to a door; he is sucking the blood down his throat in a rather desperate sort of way- this shall be regretted in the morning.]

[He was already grossed out by all the blood, and was hoping to just ignore it, but Danny walks riiiiiight past Sorin. And try as he might to ignore everything, this catches his attention.

Staring at him, Danny realizes he's sucking on the blood. And now watch his face go paler and paler, even on the green side, as he unwillingly imagines what that might be like.]

Wha...what are you doing? [In retrospect, maybe asking the guy licking blood off the walls what he was doing wasn't the greatest idea.]

The blood fills her, swallows her up, soaks her up. Drusilla can feel herself drowning in it. So much nicer than the water. Warm and alive. She can feel the souls of all the people it's been taken from. She can almost taste them.
