this is what I brought you [this you can keep]
[The Master appears on the Plane, holding a book-thing. It has "I-Spyder" written on the front, for those with good eye-sight] ---and you always leave your companion's things all over the kitchen. What is this, anyway? And how is it making an English pun when it's clearly an extraterrestrial book?
[The Doctor, appearing next to him, sniffs a bit.] It's actually an obscure Ilgerian pun based on the eye and one of their mythical heroes of the seven legends.
You know, I might have believed you if I had the intelligence of a rock. A dead rock, before you start talking about the Northern Ilgerian Society of Rocks. And one word about the reanimated dead and I'll burn this book.
[Promptly, he closes his mouth. Because, yes, he wanted to talk about Rocks.] Oh, don't stoop to book burning. I like to think there're some standards left.
'Even evil has standards'? I'll tell you this: evil isn't always confronted with--- [he finally opens the book] ---...a book for spotting various animals? Well, you can't have gotten very high; the only species you ever get near are humans. [flips through a few pages. He stops suddenly, all expression vanishing from his face.]
[Guess who just found an entry on one species in particular?]
[ooc; Join post! Red is Master, blue is Doctor, expect double-tagging and possibly threadhopping, etc. You know the rules!]

Oh, don't pay attention to that. Harmless little game book, you know.

Are the pair of you bird watching now? How fortunate my plumage is properly groomed.
[a look at the Master]
And before any comment is made amount my sex and anything that might be found lacking? I am quite aware of it and shall do my best to distract from that bon mot.

The human is a bipedal mammal that walks upright. It is mainly hairless with only a few patches of hair, the main one being on its head. Its smooth skin ranges from a pale pinky-white to a deep black. The male human is on average taller and heavier than the female. It is the only species on Earth to voluntarily clothe itself.
As of publication, the human is still abundant on Earth.
