[the little girl stops in her tracks, the ice skates she's holding falling to the 'ground' with a clatter as she stares at her surroundings. she was quite certain she'd just been in London -- and this doesn't look a thing like London. this doesn't even look a thing like Blackpool, which she's always been told loves this sort of thing.

spinning around, she is surprised to see the little shoppe she'd been visiting is gone, replaced by more of these absolutely impossible stars. and if there's no shoppe, there's no way home.

in a very unladylike fashion, the little girl plops down beside her skates, taking deep breaths. she's British -- there must be a very good explanation for this, and if there isn't, she'll just pretend there is and go about like nothing happened. as soon as she starts breathing properly, of course. her father is going to be so upset.

speaking of, the girl looks down at the skates, tugging a lace]

I suppose we won't be going skating after all...

Oh, maybe not. Some people know this place better than I do I think. Still they've got forests and beaches. Don't really much fancy the beach. Someone brings all those things here, as far as I understand it, so ice skating rink, if we haven't got one all ready, I'm sure eventually one could find it's way here.

I just came from London, apparently. I didn't know this place existed, so I was a bit surprised to find I could come here, but it's not so bad. There's lots of people here.
