[There are several piles of snow on the Plane today. There's enough of it to cover a small section of the 'floor' in it, as well as scatterings here and there. Arthur is sitting in the middle of it, dressed appropriately for the cold, at least, with a heavy winter jacket and large snow boots. His cheeks are a bright red, though whether this is because of the cold or the scotch currently being filtered by his body is anyone's guess.

There are tuffs of snow on his hair and clothes, but these are ignored in favor of the drawing in the snow he seems to be working on at the moment. Equations, to be exact]

No. I've been drinking, though. I think that might be why.

Hmm...I guess that's the younger one, then. The older one wouldn't be any good at all. At least the younger one is very polite and pleasant.

Oh, not really. Mostly colleagues.

Charles is a good friend, though.

[smiles] He's very kind. He also enjoys mathematics, like me. But he gets nervous, easily, so he has trouble with lectures and such.

He's the person I was just out drinking with.

{Warmly} How cute, then! It's hard for me to imagine two intelligent men just going out drinking. I guess I just imagine you and this Charles in an ordinary pub, rather than a...Well, I guess a more distinguished place.
