[aaand here's Vash, wearing something weird and blue right now, looking incredibly excited. There's a few big, yellow feathers stuck to him that he seems to be ignoring.]

I should've stopped to pop in here earlier, but I've been so busy! A few days ago, I woke up in someone else's bed! And there was a woman in the room with me! She kept calling me 'Cloud', and said her name was Tifa, and why was I pretending that I didn't know her? I tried to explain that I wasn't who she said I was, but she didn't listen to me.

Then she fed me breakfast! And get this, she owns a bar! Oh, she takes care of orphaned children, too! This cute little girl that also lives there painted a flower on my face! Ahh, I think I've found my perfect woman~

After that, I had to go deliver packages all over the city. There was this motorcycle I think I was supposed to use, but I sort, uhm, crashed it into a wall. But that's okay, because Tifa helped me find this yellow bird-thing they call a Chocobo to ride around on! It's funny, they look different from Tomases but remind me of them a lot. Except they don't smell nearly as bad.

... So I guess this is something else I can blame on the Astral Plane, huh?

That's right! The sharp beak had me a little worried, but the one I had was pretty calm. It keeps making weird 'wark' noises every time I fall off.

That explains why Tifa thinks I'm someone else...

Well, they're big and they have brown fur, with bird's feet and a long snout. They don't taste or smell very good.

I guess that's true, since I think the only other person from my world is Mu and even his world isn't the exactly same one as mine.

That's a lot like it is with one of my friends. I don't mind it too much. Having so many different people here makes this place interesting.

So you have a friend from a different version of your world too? How do your worlds differ? Mu's world is different from mine, but his world is also over a year behind mine..

With us, it's a little complicated. Our worlds are the same superficially, and have the same people, but there's so many little things that aren't the same... I'm not even sure if we're from the same year myself.
