[has taken off his coat and checks it over. looks rather disappointed to find a slash down the side]

My coat... [sighs] Most priests don't have swords, you know. Well, all right. Some priests do. Just it isn't exactly good for them to bang on about peace and then try to run me through.

[considers silently for a moment] Erm, Lucia, this isn't as bad as it sounds. You're not in trouble, really.

Nah, I'm all right. He wasn't exactly hiding the fact that he wanted me dead.

[tightens her jaw, taking a very deep, very shaky breath] Doctor...

[scratches his head] I'm perfectly fine though. I got a good look around before anyone noticed me.

[obviously doesn't believe him and starts checking him over for injuries, ignoring for the moment his ruined coat, poking and prodding him everywhere]

Ah, careful! [frowns and sulks a bit. he's rather like a little boy squirming away from the peroxide]

Stop that! [prods a particularly sensitive area, using the touch to scan him for any injuries] Why did you go in there alone, even after I asked you not to?

[stops trying to wiggle away but he's possibly pouting] I wanted to see what they were up to.

[ignores his pout - she's used to them] And that couldn't wait a day or two until you found someone to go with you?

I was going to ask this bloke following me around but Lucia said not to tell him about it.

So you opted to go alone, instead. Even though you knew it was dangerous. Even though I'd warned you.

Well...yeah but I'm not hurt. It went well enough.

I can handle myself. I've gone on adventures without companions.

Actually, there was this one time with the weeping angels and getting stuck in the 60's.

The Weeping Angels got a hold of me and Martha and zapped us back into the 60's, leaving you in 2007.

[just...cannot fathom this] How is that possible? Forty years...? But wasn't your Martha human? How could she have lived to join back up with me? I don't... [completely stumped]

Well, a friend in the future managed to send you back to the past, so it was only, ooooh, five months?

Actually, she only went in you long enough to activate the emergency return protocol.

[huffs, but can't really argue that. so she switches tactics] If you weren't always so careless, you'd not have gotten transported back in time, anyway.

The weeping angels are different. They've been around forever. Not something I was expecting to face.
