[has taken off his coat and checks it over. looks rather disappointed to find a slash down the side]

My coat... [sighs] Most priests don't have swords, you know. Well, all right. Some priests do. Just it isn't exactly good for them to bang on about peace and then try to run me through.

[considers silently for a moment] Erm, Lucia, this isn't as bad as it sounds. You're not in trouble, really.

[shakes her head] I agree. Parting ways does not mean a lack of contact. I belive we learned as much with the Brigadier, truly. But Susan... [sets her jaw] I refuse to believe you killed your granddaughter, Doctor. She was trapped here on Earth with no TARDIS. The Time Lords are inventive, but I do not believe they ferreted out everyone. [takes his hands] You could at least try?

[looks blank for a moment before smiling slightly] I'll look for her sometime.

[quietly] Please do. I hate seeing you like this.

[gives her hands a squeeze] Don't worry about me, old girl.

[laughs lightly] Don't ask the impossible, Doctor.

[laughs] Sometimes I forget even you have limits.

They are few and far between, I admit. [touches his face affectionately] But I must be extraordinary, as I have an extraordinary Doctor.

[laughs softly] Quite right indeed, old girl.

[grins right back and pets him. because she can. pet pet pet, Doctor]

Mm. [shuts his eyes because yay petting and it feels nice and it's the TARDIS so he can be a dog being petted]

[laughs and actually scratches beneath his chin with her left hand, because it's funny, and leans up on tiptoes to kiss his nose while ruffling his hair with her right hand]

[makes a face but it's somewhat relaxed because eee petting] I'm not a dog, you know.

[keeps petting~] Of course you aren't, Doctor. Your biology wouldn't allow for it. That does not change the fact you rather enjoy the attention, however. Would you like a bisquit? I might have a few laying around.

I do love a good audience. [opens one eye] And a good chocolate biscuit.

I much prefer being an active player than an audience member, though. Much more fun. [stops petting long enough to disappear and reappear with a plate of chocolate bisquits, offering one to him] Is this what you wanted, then?

Oooh, well, there's always audience participation. Best of both worlds. Unless the host gets snippy at you for upstaging him and proving he was a fake. [happily eats biscuit] Get these from your kitchen?

[blinks] That isn't something I remember happening. I'm sad to have missed it. [smiles warmly] They are. I believe Charlotte was making them. What for, I can't imagine, but they're in my kitchen, so they're my property, if you ask me.

Ah, that was more recent, yeah. But ooh, Charley's biscuits. Well, I doubt she'd mind if I had a few anyway.

So much seems to have happened to you, Doctor. So many stories I wish to hear... [shakes her head] At any rate, I don't much care how she'd feel about me taking them, anyway, but she did bake them for you, so.

Well they are going to a Doctor. [smiles and eats another biscuit] I wouldn't mind sharing a few stories with you. Can't hurt much.

Mmmm. [juuuust watches him, enjoying the moment, cause she's obsessed like that] I should like to hear them. Surely you have kinder stories than being separated from me by decades, or anything involving that...man, don't you? Worlds we've never seen, people we've never met? New races, even? It's been so long since I've met a proper new race.

[is used to people staring at him in an obsessive way] Oh, course I do! You know my life. It's not all seriousness and villains and all that. Oh! The Brilliant! You know the Brilliant, right? That experimental star ship that disappeared without a trace? Well! I was there. Turns out it was caught in a Time Loop. There were pirates and all that but fixed the Time Loop and everyone ended up quite happy together. [beams] Saved them all!

[yes, but do most people stare in the same way the TARDIS stares? cause she's had centuries to perfect it and all] Is that so? That's brilliant, Doctor! It's so rare when you get to save everyone. You must have felt so wonderful.

[well, aside from the Master? not really. The market is somewhat cornered] It was! Oh it was gorgeous! Spent the whole night making milkshakes and eating nibbles and dancing and everyone was so, so....so! [waves hands and sighs] There aren't enough of those but they're worth it.

There do, yes. But dancing, Doctor? You never dance. Is this some new skill you've acquired in the years since we travelled the divergent universe?
