10; I am a scientist [I can live on science alone]
[The Doctor hasn't been on the Plane in a while. Funny, though, whatever he's been up to has made him a bit happier than he was the last time he was here]
[And now, the Doctor is sitting with a chemistry set and a mottled-together computer, working on a few experiments]
[Please, feel free to interrupt him]

[looks at that bleeding near the Doctor's torso again]
You need to get that cleaned up, too. Before you do anything. You're no good to anyone, her or you if you're falling over half dead.

Fine, I'll...I'll take us to New Earth.
[struggles to stand again, then takes a breath]
C-Can you set coordinates?
no subject
Yeah, you just - You shouldn't be moving too much.
[looks at the Doctor, then moves to give Him help getting up]
You're coming with me, I don't want to come back and find you've gone back there the second I turned my back. Come on.
no subject
I wouldn't.
[leans against him]
The year 7888.DE. Good year, they should have some Gallifreyan specialists.
no subject
7888.DE. Right.
[starts looking at the console a little nervously and then starts setting coordinates, forcing himself not to grin, because he'd forgotten how much he liked this sort of thing as he moves around pulling levers and hammering and pushing buttons and everything else]

Right, now, careful with the wind-up there. It's not nearly as strong as it used to be. Good. You've got it.

[Flying the TARDIS is fun! But this is serious business, so no smiling, must do what must be done and look at that, time for landing. Let's see how smooth of a landing he can manage!]
[looking over at the Doctor] Hold tight, I haven't done this for a while.
[and it's landing time!]
no subject
Give the side there a whack, it makes it land a bit smoother.

There we go, that wasn't so bad, was it?
[he realizes he might be grinning and quickly stops]
Right. [moves to the Doctor to help Him up] Up we go.

And you knew I should've stopped.
[is that the Doctor's way of saying "I should've listened to you?" It very well might be]

[pulls the Doctor up to a stand]
Stop dwelling, it's not doing anyone any good.

He hit me more than a few times in the stomach, too.

[handles Him a little more gently, trying to avoid anywhere He could've been injured, which appears to be everywhere]
That better?

[pushes open the TARDIS door, and they're right where they should be for him]
What's out there for you?
no subject
London.
[grins when he takes a closer look at where they are]
Looks like we're close to Royal Hope Hospital. Donna had mentioned that before, how sometimes things sort of overlap. Like police stations and that sort of thing. Maybe it's the same with hospitals, too?
[points down the block from them, to what for him is Royal Hope Hospital]
You looking at a hospital over there?
no subject
[shakes head]
It's strange.
