10; I am a scientist [I can live on science alone]

[The Doctor hasn't been on the Plane in a while. Funny, though, whatever he's been up to has made him a bit happier than he was the last time he was here]

[And now, the Doctor is sitting with a chemistry set and a mottled-together computer, working on a few experiments]

[Please, feel free to interrupt him]

[one thread before it all falls apart, then, shall we?]

Doctor.

This is the bit where I say I like it when you use my name, I believe.

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
Predictably, you treat everyone around you like they're one of your assistants. I hope you don't intend on treating that hand-with-legs of yours like this.

[looks over all the equipment]

Working on anything in particular?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:41 pm (UTC)(link)
Ohhh, don't worry, I got as intimate with him as I wanted to be not long ago. It's just not the same when you're part-human... well. [and that slight smirk of laughter says that 'part-human' isn't exactly that different after all]

[identity profile] handysparehand.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:42 pm (UTC)(link)
[sits down looking it all over]

Have you been able to figure anything out yet?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:48 pm (UTC)(link)
[the Master doesn't say anything, but his smirk is darker now, and he's watching the Doctor as if he can hunt out the secret simply with his eyes. Because he knows there is a secret - he knows whom Handy was protecting.]

[This here is where a softball is going to come whizzing past the Doctor's head and very nearly smash several rather important and slightly dangerous-looking components of whatever sciencey nonsense he's working on. Thankfully it doesn't break anything, and instead continues on its merry softball way...

...But it's shortly followed by a slightly panicked-looking and highly apologetic young woman with a worn old baseball glove on her left hand and a battered Kansas City Royals cap.]

Sorry! Sorry, sorry, sorry, my fault, my--...

[Oh dear, she's seen the equipment. And now she's CURIOUS.]

What's all this for?

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
The truth.

[identity profile] cyfor.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
[She sits. And glares. Because she has discovered a merger WITH WHICH SHE IS NOT PLEASED.] You're bleeding into my house, Noodle.

[identity profile] handysparehand.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:52 pm (UTC)(link)
What do you mean it won't work?

[inspects it closer]

Have you tried increasing the thermal bionutrients?

[identity profile] anjelsword.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:53 pm (UTC)(link)
[AW WHAT THE HELL, WHY NOT. All the other Tens have seen her. :| So here is an Aniki, more horse than human, coming to peer over his shoulder.]

[identity profile] savagestime.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:54 pm (UTC)(link)
You're keeping it from me. There's a secret that I want to know.

I'll fence you for it.

[identity profile] chasingstars201.livejournal.com 2009-01-21 11:56 pm (UTC)(link)
[She is curious as to whether or not these experiments pertain to their... uh. Discussion.] What're you working on?

[Oh, he may notice she looks a bit tanner than the last time they spoke, and is stuck in a dress again, though she doesn't mind as much this time. Her hair is, for once, braided back over her shoulders.]
