Why am I not surprised?

Doctor works fine. Unless it's all a bit too confusing for you. I'd understand, really.

There are three of you, in case you haven't noticed. [waves a hand] It isn't that big a deal, anyway.

How is that merger going for you?

I'm not sure actually. I think it's going all right, but I still can't really tell.

How do you know if they're working or not?

Really? [considers this] I suppose I don't. For Harry and I, we simply spent time together, and then we shared our universes completely. It just happened. I didn't bother paying that much attention.

He said before he was good at that sort of thing. Experimented with it with his other Self or something along those lines.

[shrugs]

I suppose it will happen when it happens. Still, it would be nice to see some place different.

Mmm, he did, yes. Harry's brilliant at everything, anyway. He helped speed our merger up by walking my mind.

[she can understand that sentiment and nods] It is nice not being stuck in one place, yes. The mansion back home was getting dreadfully boring before Harry merged with me.

I don't really think I'd be up for much of that sort of thing.

[sighs]

I'll be happy to be rid of all that, if it does happen.

[walks towards the bed and takes a seat on the edge, bouncing a little]

Is it that much different these days, the places the Master takes you versus the places the Doctor takes you?

No? Why not? I thought that was something you all did regularly.

[raises a delicate eyebrow at him taking a seat, but says nothing]

Most of where I go with Harry is because he's chasing Daleks with the Doctor. They aren't exactly vacations.

I just don't really think I'd want anyone in my head is all. Especially if they're the ones with the control.

[laughs]

They finally found the missing piece to stopping the Daleks. I bet they're terrified of you.

It isn't so bad, you know.

[frowns]

You're mocking me.

[bounces a bit where he's sitting on the edge of the bed]

I'm not.

[shrugs]

Maybe a little. But still, not really.

[stops bouncing]

Have you had any close calls so far?

[just glares, then frowns] What do you mean by close call?

[a little confused because this was all he meant - he's trying to be nice]

When you're out Dalek chasing.

[ah, well, she's always on the defensive around him]

No, we haven't. It's been rather safe, actually.

[it's okay, he's usually on the defensive or being rude around her, too. so of course being nice should lead to confusion.]

Really? That's one thing I wouldn't associate with running around after Daleks. Still, that's good.

[eyes those jelly babies]

So are you ever going to share those or are they just going to sit in your lap all day?

[yeah. Handy, stop being confusing :|]

Like I said: I don't get to go out, either. All I know is nothing's happened to the TARDIS.

[smirks]

Whatever gave you the impression I would share them with you?

[sorry D:]

I forgot. Really, never? Not much better off than I am at the moment, it sounds like. Still, the TARDIS is good, all those rooms to explore.

[gives her a look]

Well nothing, really, I just thought it was worth a shot at least, with us trying to get on together.

Only where the Daleks are concerned. Harry said it's a Time Lord's battle and I'm not allowed. [shrugs] I wouldn't know. I haven't bothered to.

[and she smirks]

Do you even want to get on with me, Doctor?

You should look around. It's worth your time, if you're stuck in there while they're off fighting Daleks.

[sighs, but he's still in a good mood]

I'm trying, aren't I?

I don't want to. I have no interest in ever looking around the Doctor's TARDIS. I'll wait til I'm on Harry's.

[considers him]

Why? Because he told you to?

If you're in there anyway, why not make the most of it?

[considers her as well]

Honestly? Yeah, that probably has something to do with it, but it still has to count for something, doesn't it?

Because I don't want to think of the Doctor's TARDIS as home.

[ruffled that he even got her to admit to that]

Do you always only do what you're told?

So what do you do with yourself, then, when they're off fighting Daleks?

[makes an annoyed face]

No.

[considers her again]

I am making an effort, you know. Despite everything, I'm still doing that much.

I don't see how that's any of your concern. [read: hangs out with MJ!Ten]

[has a remark, then sighs, offering the jelly babies]

It was just a -

[surprised to be offered jelly babies but takes them, trying to hide any sort of grin that might want to come to the surface]
