[Lucy's back in her bedroom on the Plane again, this time putting the last touches on a journal entry (don't worry, it's nothing incriminating maybe). she's been having a good time of it lately and could use a nice, quiet, happy day of social interaction before the shit hits the fan. she's also got a small bag of jelly babies sitting next to her that she pops in her mouth from time to time whilst writing. steal some at your own risk]

[smirks] They aren't, ah ... hand-me-downs, I suppose.

[glares]

[giggles] Oh, really now. Did I deserve that?

What do you think?

Mmm, I think I didn't. [still smiling, but answers seriously] They do both have their own ship, though. You can't very well be the Doctor without one, can you?

[rolls his eyes a little then sits back down on the bed, having seemingly forgotten about cooties for the moment]

The Master doesn't have his either, but he's still the Master, isn't he?

[purses her lips] He doesn't obsess over the stupid machine, either, not like you do.

Have you ever asked him about it? Try telling him that his is stupid and see what his reaction is.

If it's Harry's, it won't be stupid, now will it? It won't be broken and run down and it certainly won't try to get rid of me.

She's not stupid or broken or run -

[pauses, looking at her]

Hold up, how does she keep trying to get rid of you?

The one I'm in now. It keeps doing all sorts of dreadful things. No hot water, my clothes are all rearranged, it even made my bedroom smaller, once. I'm obviously not wanted.

[forces himself not to be amused and puts on a serious face]

Well if you're calling her stupid and broken and run down, no wonder.

[sniffs] The other one doesn't, and I've hardly had a change of heart between the two.

Have you actually said she was stupid and broken around her?

Oh, I'm fairly certain. [frowns] I can't quite remember. He said the thing liked me, for whatever reason.

I'm not sure. It could be differences in the timelines, maybe? A few years spent living with the Master might have something to do with it. She's probably not in the most tolerant of moods.

I hear Donna is traveling with you now, right? Is the TARDIS treating her all right?

[shrugs] It won't matter after Harry finds his TARDIS. I won't have to deal with either of your other selves', then.

Mmm, I think so. I haven't heard her complain, yet.

And then you'll be happy?

Yeah, I think you'd have heard her complain by now if the TARDIS wasn't. You two get along all right?

I'm happy now.

I suppose. We haven't spent much time together.

You're living in a place that keeps trying to boot you, you can't stand the Doctor you're living with, you have to sit around while they go off hunting Daleks. It sounds less than ideal. But if you're happy...

[sighs, then brightens a little]

You'd like her I think. She's funny. She likes shopping too, you two could go shopping together, that would be fun.

[sets her jaw] I have Harry. I am happy.

So I've been told. I would like that, though.

[considers her and then just nods] All right.

[grins] You should, you'll have a good time. She's good at keeping Doctors in line, too. So that will be another plus for her in your book, I'm sure.

[laughs] It isn't that hard to do, you know. Keeping you all in line.
