[hello Plane goers! remember when Lucy was getting her things together for the Fortress? I sure do! and so does she! because now she's actually decorating the metal monstrosity! that's right, Lucy is currently hanging curtains on the large, scary windows of the Fortress, humming to herself as she sets everything up. she's also got some stuff going on inside and has been working intermittently on her own room. the Masters should be pleased to note they now have the comfiest goddamn furniture evar, complete with throw pillows and drapes and all that fun stuff that Lucy thinks will make the place look nicer. she's insane and she's cruel, but she's got an eye for decorations, shut up.
she wouldn't mind a bit of help or a spot of conversation, so head on over to the Fortress. she might even bring you tea, awwww, isn't that sweet?]

I can do that, I think.
[gives her a look before he starts hanging curtains]
It wouldn't hurt to say please or thank you.

You're welcome.
[and now it seems like he's picked up the habit of humming while he's hanging curtains, too.]

Is that any song in particular?

[startled because he didn't even realize he was humming]
Oh, I don't know. Wasn't really paying attention.
[jumps down, because one set of curtains hung, three more to go.]
Did it sound like anything?

[he pauses, almost ready not to do it for the principle, but he's bored and it's something to do, so he grabs another set of curtains, and heads for an empty window. also, have some more absent humming]

If you want to do this on your own be my guest.
[the one end sagged, still needing to be properly hung. a part of him wanted to fix it right now, but she was looking so smug, and so he forced himself not to look at it anymore, moving away from the window and the half hung drapes and looking at her instead.]

[steps forward to grab the curtain, trying to hold it up so it doesn't fall and get all twisted and such. shoots him a nasty look] Can none of you ever finish anything you start?
no subject
Can you ever be gracious about anything?
[looks at her]
What have "none of you" ever started and not finished?
no subject
[frowns, then waves a hand dismissively] You know. You and the other Doctors. You never finish anything you start.
no subject
[rolls his eyes.]
No. I don't know. What don't we finish?
