[hello Plane goers! remember when Lucy was getting her things together for the Fortress? I sure do! and so does she! because now she's actually decorating the metal monstrosity! that's right, Lucy is currently hanging curtains on the large, scary windows of the Fortress, humming to herself as she sets everything up. she's also got some stuff going on inside and has been working intermittently on her own room. the Masters should be pleased to note they now have the comfiest goddamn furniture evar, complete with throw pillows and drapes and all that fun stuff that Lucy thinks will make the place look nicer. she's insane and she's cruel, but she's got an eye for decorations, shut up.

she wouldn't mind a bit of help or a spot of conversation, so head on over to the Fortress. she might even bring you tea, awwww, isn't that sweet?]

Throw pillows.

Is there something wrong with throw pillows?

Only that they're there.

And what, exactly, is that supposed to mean?

Nothing. Nothing at all.

Are those ruffles on the curtains?

They are. Charming, aren't they? I picked them out myself.

Charming. Well, that's not the word I would use...

[picks up a throw pillow and hugs it] This is comfortable!

[Watches with interest]

Isn't it? I thought you might like it!

[keeps up what she was doing~!]

I wish you'd picked darker colours, though... [petting the pillow absently - he likes soft things, okay?]

I can always pick up some more. Anything to please you, Harry.

[Edges closer] Looks nice.

That'd be lovely, Lucy. Maybe talk to Self a bit about it. And I think we need more reds. The colour of Pain, you know.

[is now tossing the pillow in the air and catching it]

When I see him, I'll do that. [smiles, watching him] You do so love that colour, don't you?

[smiles at her] Thank you. It's quite lovely, I must admit.

[She actually smiles back! Bai is making progress] It works well with the... [Wrinkles her nose for a moment] Castle?

Well, it looks good, doesn't it? Mauve's all right but I wouldn't wear it, but simple red...

[he's way too amused by tossing and catching the pillow. And now he will toss it to her!]

[was not expecting that and fumbles it, but does make sure to keep hold before it hits the ground. smiles weakly at him, fluffing it, then tosses it back]

It does, yes. Perhaps I should get you a nice red shirt vest to go with one of your suits? I'm sure you'd look smashing in it.

Fortress, dear. They call it the Fortress. [she's totally primping now] And of course it works well. I bought it.

[catches the pillow, tosses it up, and then throws it back to her]

Whatever you like, Lucy! You know, we'll have to set up a system for celebrating your birthday. The Doctor and I never celebrate birthdays or anniversaries, as we hardly remember when we are, let alone when they are, but there's no reason I can't arrange something for you and I.

[She's unsure about the dear but nods anyway Ah, my apologies.

My birthday? Oh, Harry, you don't have to do that. I'm happy enough just being with you.
