[hello Plane goers! remember when Lucy was getting her things together for the Fortress? I sure do! and so does she! because now she's actually decorating the metal monstrosity! that's right, Lucy is currently hanging curtains on the large, scary windows of the Fortress, humming to herself as she sets everything up. she's also got some stuff going on inside and has been working intermittently on her own room. the Masters should be pleased to note they now have the comfiest goddamn furniture evar, complete with throw pillows and drapes and all that fun stuff that Lucy thinks will make the place look nicer. she's insane and she's cruel, but she's got an eye for decorations, shut up.
she wouldn't mind a bit of help or a spot of conversation, so head on over to the Fortress. she might even bring you tea, awwww, isn't that sweet?]

[considers him a moment before asking] Tell me something. Given the chance, would you have ever tried to travel with me?

[pauses]
If I didn't remember that Year, then probably, yeah.
[considers her for a moment]
What would have happened if you hadn't met the Master first? Would you have wanted to travel with me? Or Him. Or whichever one. [sighs] There really are far too many.

[is a bit taken aback by his question]
If I hadn't met Harry...? [frowns, thinking it over] I doubt I'd have ever met any of you, all things considered. Harry is the reason I hate you. Harry is also the reason you all seem to think I need saving. I don't know I would have liked you, either way. Even if you could give me the stars.

[studies her]
For someone who supposedly thinks for themselves, you seem to make an outrageous amount of choices because of Harry.

[narrows her eyes]
Is it so wrong to want to please my husband? And I make more than enough choices on my own. But you can't deny he's the reason I was on the Valiant. He's the reason I ever met you. Unless you make a habit of visiting random bookstores and picking up publicists?

[stops and scoffs]
There's not even a point in having this argument with you, is there?
[still smiling]
What's the last thing you did purely for yourself, that had absolutely nothing to do with the Master?

[raises a thin eyebrow]
I fail to see how that's any of your business. What I do in my freetime is none of your concern.

[shrugs]
If you can't manage to think of anything, I wouldn't be too surprised, really.
