[Walking around, feeling very uncomfortable and yet unable to hide his curiosity. Still, he's trying to act as normal as possible should anyone come along, with a lax posture and hands in his pockets. He squints as he examines a swirling galaxy in the distance, before thoughtfully tapping the "floor". Thinking he might as well try getting a hold of somebody, Dexter fixes on a smile and tries calling out.]

Hello? [pauses to listen]

[cups a hand next to his mouth] Don't suppose someone could lend me a map of this place!

Ne, there are a lot of things in the world that don't really make sense, but they're fine for the most part too. I think that you're thinking too hard about it~

{Surprised, and a little flustered} Oh, it was a joke? Ne, ne, but you sounded so serious!

[grins even wider] I missed my calling in life. I should've been an actor instead.

So, what brings you here, Diva? The fresh air, the scenery, the bad jokes?

Oh, just a place to run away from my Chevalier. It's nice and quiet here, and, well, Amshel can't find me here! So it's where I can go and do what I want. Kind of anyways. There's not a whole lot to do.

French, actually. Literally, it means "knight". But that's the just what I decided to call them. Well, since French was my first language and everything, it made sense. My Chevalier are the only people in the world that will always stand beside me~

Interesting. So...why do you have bodyguards? That's what they sound like.

{Smiles} My sister and her friends, a lot of humans, they all say that I shouldn't exist. Ne, but I'd rather be alive, you know? So my Chevalier make sure that Saya can't kill me.

That must make family reunions very awkward.

Oh, I don't have a family. There's a long story behind that, but pretty much, it's because I'm not human.

...Really. [considers for a moment] What do you mean?

I mean that I'm not human. Joel named us Chiropterans, but that doesn't really mean anything t people. Saya and I are secrets, after all. No one is supposed to know about us.

But the thing that we're most like is a thing from fairy tales~ We're a lot like vampires.

We all have our dark sides. Yours is just bit more literal.

{Her small and gentle smile widens into a toothy grin, just to show off the two teeth that are longer and sharper than they would usually be. But it quickly fades back to her smaller smile once she's confirmed it.}

Ne, most people are really afraid when they find out. But it's alright. I'm not really hungry. Even if I was though, I wouldn't do that to people I like~

[is silent for a minute, before fixing on a smile] Let's just say the city I'm from is very liberal.
