041: Hey, It's Just an Ordinary Day

[Hei appears on the Plane in a nice armchair, a coffee table and a widescreen TV. There's various plates of half-eaten food on the table that Hei is slowly working through, as well as a stack of papers with handwritten notes on them. Some of them look to be notes about cars again, but there's also some scribbles with a few Tokyo districts written down, as well as what look like details about them.]

[For now, though, Hei seems to be preoccupied with what's on the TV. Namely, I Love the 70's. 1974, to be exact--and even more specifically, the segment on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Deadpool got Hei to watch I Love the 80's, and Hei decided to follow up :|]

Killing someone with a chainsaw wouldn't be very efficient, though...

{Leans back against him, putting a hand on his cheek} Ne, don't tell me that Hei is a virgin~

[Looking away from Diva.] We haven't...I mean, I don't even know if she wants...

Then ask her, silly. If you love her, and she loves you, it should be easy.

But it's--I mean--it's not really that simple. It's sort of--an awkward conversation and...I shouldn't even be talking to you about this.

[madamemoiselle]

Why not? We're friends, right?

Ah, of course, if Hei is ever bored and wants to try, I don't mind. There aren't many people that I would mind, really...

Well... [He's pretty sure this is what Misaki was upset about before, that he'd talk to Diva about things, but not her.]

Ah! Th-that's alright...

[madamemoiselle]

Well what?

{She smiles softly, closing her eyes} I knew that you'd say that. Hei is a gentleman.

[contract_star]

Just...is it normal to talk to friends about other friends like that?

[Small smile.]

[madamemoiselle]

Hei, you shouldn't ask me about think that are and aren't normal. Ne, I have no idea. But I do know that I'll listen to you if you'll talk to me.

[contract_star]

[Smiles.] Sorry. But...you're right. Even if it isn't normal, it's okay.

[madamemoiselle]

That's better. You do need to figure out how you feel, though. As a woman, I'll tell you that there's nothing worse than being left hanging. Misaki is nice, so the worst that could happen is that she says she doesn't feel the same way. And even then, she's a good person. She won't be cruel or hold it against you, I'm sure.

You should definitely ask her. Ask her out to dinner, or something nice.

I just...worry that things would change between us.

Maybe...maybe I should.

[madamemoiselle]

Not enough to make the two of you not be friends. Ah, but I have a better idea. Invite her over and cook her dinner. Find out what her favorite food is. Thoughtful things like that are really wonderful.

That's...that's a good idea.

[madamemoiselle]

Then you should do that. Just tell me when you'd like to so I know not to let anyone bother you.

Well...I'm not sure it would be wise for her to come to the mansion. But...I'll figure something out.

It wouldn't? Why not?

The rest of the police force might be suspicious. And if the Syndicate knows about the connection between us it's possible they might be tailing her.
