041: Hey, It's Just an Ordinary Day

[Hei appears on the Plane in a nice armchair, a coffee table and a widescreen TV. There's various plates of half-eaten food on the table that Hei is slowly working through, as well as a stack of papers with handwritten notes on them. Some of them look to be notes about cars again, but there's also some scribbles with a few Tokyo districts written down, as well as what look like details about them.]

[For now, though, Hei seems to be preoccupied with what's on the TV. Namely, I Love the 70's. 1974, to be exact--and even more specifically, the segment on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Deadpool got Hei to watch I Love the 80's, and Hei decided to follow up :|]

Killing someone with a chainsaw wouldn't be very efficient, though...

Now there's a scary movie.

Nono, the one with the transvestite. Rocky Horror. Tim Curry is the scariest thing ever conceived by man or beast.

...Not always. Take Eddie Izzard. He's an "executive transvestite". Not scarey. Tim Curry as Dr. Frank-N-Furter is a "fuckin' werido transvestite". On top of that, also an alien and mad scientist. Very fuckin' scary.

[Another hour passes and it's 1976, year of bicentennial, the Muppets, Carrie, Charlie's Angels, The Gong Show, and Rocky.]

...We should get a gong for the Plane.

I'm not sure that would be wise.

[Headtilt.] That girl was using electricity, wasn't she?

[mercwamouth]

I don't think she was really using electricity, I think electric stuff was just happening as a result of her freaky telekinetic powers.

...Hm. [It's still odd to see other kinds of people with powers.]

[mercwamouth]

[1977! The year of Star Wars! I'm sure other stuff happened that year, but who the hell cares?]

I've actually seen those.

[mercwamouth]

Well, hey, there's hope for you yet. Did you know it was that old, though?

I didn't. It's pretty amazing, actually.
