[the Twins stand with their arms crossed] You guys really like killing, don't you? We're going to have to start charging for this! [huff] Do you know how much we've had to streamline the process to meet demand?

Gene Hunt? Report to the shop immediately.

[He can't pass up an opportunity to converse with the infamous twins, now can he? And what's this, he came prepared? He's holding two sugar cookies, one in each hand, in index-and-thumb fingers as if they were made of glass. Or as if he didn't want to be touching them.]

Wouldn't want to be troublesome, but have time for a few questions? [He dangles the cookies out to them expectantly. He isn't sure if they even eat, but he's about to find out.]

Out of curiosity... is there anything tying together those of us able to visit the 'astral plane'?

[identity profile] sucre-justice.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 07:06 am (UTC)(link)
To what ends?

This... experiment involving our separate realities. Is there an underlying purpose or simply for your amusement?

Ah, forgive me; it's rude for me to assume your part in this. You could be following orders, after all... Or be under an obligation, perhaps?

[identity profile] sucre-justice.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 07:15 am (UTC)(link)
Hm, I see... In that case, I'm curious as to why you don't direct voluntary subjects as opposed to picking individuals with little comprehension of their situation.

Wouldn't it work to your advantage if you had many proverbial mice working with you, as opposed to functioning confused and without guidance?

[He places a finger to his mouth, teeth grazing the skin of his thumb in thought.]

Admittedly, I could be wrong, considering I know next to nothing about what 'control and use of reality bending' entails.

So, the experiment is directly effected by the reactions the participant has after being exposed to the 'astral plane.'

It's psychological, then?

[identity profile] sucre-justice.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 07:45 am (UTC)(link)
And the mental instability of a subject had an adverse effect on their 'control' of their perceived reality, I take it?

Death seems to have... a considerably lesser consequence here as opposed to... 'my reality'? Ah, it's... interesting.

[identity profile] sucre-justice.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 08:02 am (UTC)(link)
Hm, so... if I were to die because of events occurring in my reality - you would act to 'revive' me?

[identity profile] sucre-justice.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 08:10 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, no, I hardly intend to die. I'm merely speculating. There's always the possibility, unfortunately. [He is most definitely contemplating the precarious situation he's in as he drives Light into a corner.]

If that were to be the case - though, I sincerely hope it never will be - how would it effect those in my reality? Those involved in my death, per say? [This has obviously piqued L's interest.]

From how you spoke earlier of how you hope to avoid he deaths of participants, I take it you'd prefer to avoid realities from fracturing.

What sort of change do you hope to see?

[identity profile] sucre-justice.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 08:28 am (UTC)(link)
It must be difficult for you, in that case. To have so many questions and living vicariously through your subjects in order to get the answers.

I'm curious. What is it like, in your reality?

[identity profile] sucre-justice.livejournal.com 2008-02-25 05:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Is your reality affected by your participants?
