[Firo appears on the Plane making an 'owf@#!' face. He is hanging on to his arm, which already appears to have healed over... except for his hand. He stares at it. It is missing three fingers.]

....damn.

[-.-;;;] I'll be okay, really. Um... They'll grow back. Sort of.

They'll what? [ Angela isn't used to body parts that, um, regrow. ]

[...sigh. He really didn't want her knowing he was a freak. -.-'] They'll come back. When I get hurt... all my pieces come back. Eventually. Though I doubt my fingers will make it to the Plane.

[Gives his hand a mournful look.]

[ Blink blink. ] How? I mean, that has to be some heavy duty magic.

Umm... [Head scratchscratch.] I'm immortal?

[ That's not what she was expecting. ] I... guess that makes sense. You're kind of young looking for an immortal, though. Not that I've met many.

I am kind of young. I think I'm the youngest, actually. [Look a bit melancholy for a second, but shakes it off.] Happened by accident at a party. Some friends brought in liquor they stole, not knowing it was magic or something. Most everyone there had some.

[ She opens her mouth to ask about the look, but decides against it. ] So a whole bunch of you are immortal now?

Yup! It's not so bad I guess. Some of my best friends were there--another one of my parties. [^.^;] This time for me, though, not by, so.

I guess that wouldn't be so bad. If you're going to be immortal, you may as well be with your friends.

[ She still looks a little worried, though. ] You're sure your hand's going to be all right, though? It looked like you were in pain.

Well, I did get 'em cut off. Hurts a bit. But yeah, I'll be okay. [Have a smile.] Thanks, Angy. [Oh wait--] Uh. Sorry. Your highness? [^.^;]

[ Blush. No one's called her Angy in a while. ] I think I have some Pakkun chocolate in my room in the castle. I could bring some back. It helps with pain.

Pakkun? [Curious Firo is curious. And he likes sweets.] Never heard of that brand.

I'll go get some. Stay here. [ Angela disappears from the Plane, and returns a few minutes later, carrying four big bars of chocolate. The likenesses of cute, big-eyed lizards are carved into the chocolate bars. She hands over one, since he currently only has one hand to hold it with. ]

Honey drinks are good painkillers, too, but I don't have any on hand.

[Is a little horrified at the cute, big-eyed lizard staring poignantly up at him, but hides it well and noms on its head.] This is good. [He grins at her. Yes, he is still very much a kid.]

[ She smiles and nibbles on one of her own. ] Some of my friends used to eat three or four of them at a time. And we had to keep Carlie out of the round drops, or she'd eat them all in one sitting.

[Nom nom] Carlie?

She's the kid of our group. Well, she's really almost my age, but because she's part elf, she ages a lot slower, so she looks and acts like she's eight or nine. [ She sighs. ] She's a handful.

That so? [Contemplates his chocolate.] Maiza says I'm not going to age at all.

[ Frowns. ] Not something you'd normally think you'd miss, I guess. At least you didn't get turned immortal at ten. I can imagine that would get awkward after a while.

Yeah, you'd think. I just wonder... [He pauses and moves to scratch his head before remembering--right, no fingers.] Well, it doesn't matter.

[ She tips her head, curious, then nudges him gently with her elbow. ] You wonder what? Spill.

[Looks away, his perpetual smile faltering a bit.] I don't... it's nothing, really. I just think too much.

[ She watches him a bit, then turns her attention back to her chocolate. ] Is Maiza a friend of yours?

Yup! [Chocolate is tasty.] He's one of the first immortals. I think he's something like two-hundred forty now? I dunno. He doesn't talk about his age.
