Brig is not frequently with a sword, but he figured since he's going about various planets and times, he might as well take a moment to learn something period appropriate

She's never let me down before - no point in getting a new one as long as this one still does the job right.

Can't say I wouldn't do the same. Good gun's hard to come by nowadays. Mine's saved my arse more times I care to count, though.

One of those types - easy enough to handle in my experience. Raise your voice a bit and they tend to back down.

Had that same problem a few days ago. Right stubborn young man. Took listing off the names and ranks of my entire personnel and whether or not they've died to get him to keep in line.
