[please take note: the Brigadier is on the Astral Plane - but not as he usually is. no, this time, he's here with his desk and his paperwork... and he's asleep. the Brigadier has popped off to the Astral Plane to catch up on sorely needed sleep without losing any time. his cap is laying off to the side, his hair is slightly mussed, and he's still got a pen in one hand]

Some casualties are necessary. If you can keep all your men alive, you're lucky - but odds are, a lot of good men'll end up dying. [he rubs one of his eyes] You and the Doctor aren't soldiers, after all. The three of us see it in different ways.

[tilts her head] Is that so strange? He was surviving on borrowed time as it was, stealing a Traken body after his final regeneration finally failed him. His newest was apparently reborn for the Time War, regenerations and all. [frowns] They never should have brough him back.
