005 :: MINGLE! It's not just April Fools' Day.
[ In strategic places around the Plane are multicolored sticky notes -- on tree barks, on the information kiosk, at the entrances to the Bar, the Coliseum, the Theater and the Bath House; and at whatever thing that resembles a bulletin board at the Library. It says in (readable!) block writing:

Anyone stepping/arriving into the Kitchen will be greeted with an impressive rag-tag spread (finger foods, little tarts, canapés, etc.) which looks suspiciously catered. The host? Has his hair tied in a loose ponytail and the sleeves of his dress shirt rolled up. Regardless of who comes in, they'll be greeted with a bright smile and an enthused -- ]
Come on, dig in!
(( OOC: Ssssh~ it's Kiran's belated birthday celebration! He just decided there was far too much food in his reality, so the party extends to the Plane~ Tag in and tag among yourselves, everybody's welcome! ))

I think I can relate to training years being a blur. I think that's how I felt for... four, five years until I turned fifteen. How'd it feel to have family fighting with you? [ It was a question out of simple curiosity. Kiran doesn't have siblings, but he knew that Seiya and the current Bronze Saints were half brothers. ]
[ To answer North's question, Kiran floats a platter of quiches for the other man to sample. ] Several things. Psychokinetic and healing abilities, armor forging and hand to hand and ranged combat. It's a lot, but Athena's army can be pretty demanding!

Wait, you...can move things with your mind and heal? Is it a kind of magic or something that you learned? [Everything else sounds pretty normal to him, even if he doesn't forge armor. (Another department handles making their armor.]

[ Kiran nods, leaning over the counter, chin over his interlaced fingers. The floating quiche platter nudges North ~ ] Psychokinesis and teleportation's in our blood. Healing too, at times, but back home, you can develop healing abilities after a whole lot of training.

[He takes a few of the quiches, setting all but one on his plate.] So I gotta ask, do you know a guy named Mu at all? He has the same kind of...[he trails off and points at his forehead, unsure what to call them]...eyebrow markings.

[ Kiran grins at the question. He speaks with obvious fondness of the man in question. ] Mu's my Master! He taught me everything I know! Well, him and another teacher, but he was my teacher for most of my life.

Wow, small world! Mu's a pretty good guy. [He smiles fondly speaking of Mu.]

Oh, he is! I love him very much!
[ The simple words speak volumes as to how, at one point in his life, Mu was Kiran's whole world, akin to an affection of a child to a parent. ]
So, the biofoam's like a combination of disinfectant, pain killers and-- well, an all-in-one first-aid kit, huh? Sounds pretty handy, instead of lugging kits around. [ Talk of the biofoam though reminded him of a certain scanner... ] Ah-- do you happen to know someone called Doc? He wears a similar armor to yours.

Hah, yeah, tell me about it. We only have so much room to carry supplies, and in combat, we need to be as light on our feet as possible. [Says the guy wearing some pretty heavy-duty armor.]
[But when Kiran mentions Doc, a funny expression washes over his face and he lets out a laugh.] Met him too, huh? That guy is something else. [He smiles and shakes his head.] I don't know him personally back home, but apparently, he's actually from the future. Don't know how far ahead, but enough to know some things. I don't know how true it all is, but he also doesn't seem like the kind of person who'd lie about stuff like that, you know?

[ There's no disguising Kiran's studying look of the armor, nodding along to North's remark. ] I figure. Not when you already have all that to carry around.
[ Soon, Kiran chuckles at Doc's description. ] He's a little strange, but he's just so honest about things. He kind of... scares me sometimes, but then you find out that he's mostly harmless. [ And his face mimics a silent, "Oh!" ] Wait-- I've asked Doc this question before, but-- are you guys always, always in your armor?

[North can't help laughing] You think he's scary? I don't think that guy can hurt more than a fly. [Oh, what little he knows of Doc's sordid medical past...] I'm not at all surprised that he's one of those guys who likes to live in the armor. There aren't many, but some just find it easier to keep it on. Me, I like to take a break every now and then when important stuff isn't around the corner. Believe me, spend enough nights sleeping in this, and you'll be longing for a soft, warm bed to sleep in at the end of the day.
