[Cy appears on the Plane, looking totally out of it. She's sitting, small and wide-eyed and confused, amidst the scattered bodies of dead cats. They're sad, grotesque creatures, some missing eyes, or a leg, some unnaturally large, almost all missing hair around the face and neck. Most have wounds, some shallow and unhealed, others recent, signs of a brutal fight. Many of them are charred. The one closest to Cy has wires wound up into one of its eye sockets.

She walks over to him, dabs gently at his face, and starts trying ineffectively to clean the soot from around his nose.]

Wake up, brother. There's dances to be done. Wake up. You can find the road again. Please?

Do you know who did it to them? [he's definitely hinting at more than just the killing part with that "it"]

[She starts rocking back and forth. Her spark plug glitters, gives off a brief blue flicker.] Stink in the nose, metal in the blood, the unwelcome walker, the Half-and-Half!

[somewhat taken aback, but he holds out a hand to Cy] They're not here now, you're safe.

[Grabs onto his hand and climbs up his sleeve.] He's always hurting, always sitting on my head, waiting for me to come back, never want to go back, but Ace and the King and Queen and the roads and we need the Golden Cat.

But he's waiting, waiting. [Curls up on his shoulder, against his neck.]

[pets her with the opposite hand so as not to shake her loose]

[Sniffs him.] It is a honey-man. I remember this one.

[A little confused.] The one that remembers you?

[Starts licking his neck, because she's sort of at a loss right now and feels like doing something.] He showed me songs.

Did he? Oi, that tickles.

[Lick, lick, lick. She seems sort of hypnotized by her own activity.]

Sing a song of sixpence.

[She blinks at him and pauses.] Well isn't he so impressive.

[grin] I am, yeah. I was there when they wrote that rhyme.

[Rubs her face against his neck.] Can see the break of every dawn and the shatter of every ambition.
