[Unsurprising, being whisked off somewhere new is somewhat disconcerting. Hawk ventures a couple of steps further onto the Plane, looking around, before offering any opinion on it.] So… a travelling shop, and this is… what, the destination? The point of origin? [the shop continues to not show up when he scans the area again, though, and he sucks his lip in, hands going to his sash.] It seems very eager to have taken off again. So… maybe not. Maybe it’s a common area, a stepping stage, that could make sense. But for what purpose?
…well, at least the floor stays where it ought. [He taps it with one foot a few times, and straightens up.] And it’s rather more spacious than where I was, that’s a point for it. [He relaxes, shoulders going down, elbows loose, lips quirking up.] May as well stretch my legs while I’m here. I’m not exactly in a hurry.

Are you in a Guild, then? [He'll stay out of the way for now, grabbing a chair and sitting down. He pulls one leg up, fingers tapping against it as he thinks about how to tell what he knows.]
I don't know that much more about it, honestly… there aren't many reliable accounts, and they disagree as to where it was in the first place and what it did. Some people say it lies in Luna's domain, hidden under the Moonlight Forest, and others say it covered the north before the elements encroached on it. The stars don't belong to any of the eight, you see. Wisp might be closest, but…
[He shakes himself, and continues.] Others say that it only touches the world at certain times, that there's a ferryman there who'll take you across… they never say if he'll bring you back, though. Maybe everyone who went decided they liked whatever they found there better. [His lips quirk up.]

[ She then shakes her head. ] I'm not part of a guild, no. But my family's part of a ninja Weapons clan, and I am partner to a Meister.
no subject
Ah? [He perks up, excited to hear that, and pauses, head tilted.] A Meister? Does that mean… like a Master? [but if they're partners, that means they're at an equal level. Right? And what's that about weapons?]
no subject
[ She shakes her head at the question. ] Not exactly a "master", hmm... [ She tries to find other words to describe her relationship with her partner... ] More like a handler! I'm a weapon, you see. And back home, with my partner, we hunt demons and witches who cause trouble.
no subject
Er… not quite. You mean your partner wields you as one? [The confused look hasn't left, and he looks her over again as though that'll solve the puzzle.]
no subject
[ This time she nods as she goes about her preparations -- she's quite skillful with a kitchen knife~ ] Mm! Though... [ seeing that look ] I guess it would be easier to show you --
[ She takes the end of her ponytail and immediately, the end turns into a chain, at the end of which dangles a sharp scythe. ] This is just a partial transformation.
no subject
[He leans forward, curious, and starts when her hair transforms, eyes going wide.] Ehh!? That's pretty incredible already! You're never defenceless, huh.
no subject
[ A pause as she skilfully tears at some nori -- ] What do you do back home, Hawk?
no subject
Ah- [He reaches out to snag a little of the nori, and grins] Redistribution, more or less.
no subject
[ She hums a little, thinking of Black*Star. She doesn't have the heart to even think of knowing what he thinks and so... ] We work well together! A Weapon needs a wielder, and a Meister needs a Weapon. He takes good care of me.
[ Curious now~ ] "Redistribution"? Of what?
no subject
That's good. And you look after him, too, right? [it doesn't really answer the question, either, but he doesn't think he knows enough to do anything about it. Not for now, anyway, and not from here. Maybe if this other person turns up he'll ask.]
[He smiles, though it's somewhat subdued.] That which should have been equal in the first place. …well, not prestige and that sort of thing, that'd be a bit tricky.
no subject
[ She ponders a bit at the description, catching that smile. ] It doesn't sound simple at all. We do things not for prestige but because it's what we have to do, mm?
[ Shutting the bento boxes and piling them one over the other. ] There! We can make our way to the theater now!
no subject
Mm. Because it's what's right. And you two… you help protect people, right?
Excellent! Can I carry any of those for you? [He gestures to the boxes.]
no subject
[ Leading the way~ ] Ultimately, it's what we do. There are those who are out to harm others so we try to stop them. I suppose you do your redistribution for the same purpose?
no subject
[and following!] Pretty much. [he frowns] Sometimes… I think the people doing it just don't care about others, but that's hardly any better.
no subject
[ She shakes her head. ] I don't know -- but we'll find out soon enough I guess! Any kind of movie you like watching?
no subject
I suppose so! I… haven't heard of them before now, though, so I'm afraid I couldn't say.

[ ... that sounded a lot better in her head. ]
no subject
…ahhh, I'm sure it'll make sense when I see it.
no subject
[ And speaking of, they're at their destination! ] Well! Here we are! I just... don't see the Ticket Master around though.
no subject
[He looks around, leaning forward a little, and settles again, glancing at her.] You don't suppose that maybe…
